Jeremy Hecklinsi – Walton
One of the very best quarterbacks across Georgia, the Wake Forest commitment has has an unbelievable senior season and has Walton undefeated heading into the playoffs. The athletic, big-armed gunslinger has thrown for 2,258 yards this season, 2nd most in the 7A class, along with 26 touchdowns and just one INT. He’s leading a Raider offense that has scored at least 35 points in every game. He can make big throws down the field, and he has Walton in a position to win the 7A title this season if he continues to play at the high level he’s played at all season long.
Neko Fann Neko Fann 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Colquitt County | 2024 State GA – Colquitt County
Don’t let the size fool you here. Fann may not be the biggest quarterback in the peach-state, but he’s been one of the very best in 7A this season, leading the Packers to an undefeated record heading into the playoffs. The new Middle Tennessee State commitment has thrown for 2,203 yards with an outstanding 29 touchdown passes with just four INTs. He’s accurate, understands his role, and can make big throws down the field. He has plenty of weapons around him, and he’s played winning football all season long. With Fann leading the way, the Packers are hoping to get back to their championship ways.
Luke Nickel Luke Nickel 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Milton | 2025 State GA – Milton
A big-time junior quarterback who continues to impress, Nickel is a Miami Hurricane commitment who has led the Milton Eagles to another outstanding season. An accurate passer with leadership skills and impressive mobility, Nickel is safe with the football and has been effective throughout the 2023 season, throwing for 2,169 yards with 22 touchdowns and just one INT. He does a great job of not turning the ball over and getting his playmakers the ball. He can push the ball down the field and has played great football against quality opponents all season long. The Eagles are used to getting deep in the playoffs, and if Nickel continues his stellar play, the Eagles will make another deep run this month.
Dylan Raiola Dylan Raiola 6'3" | 220 lbs | QB Buford | 2024 State GA – Buford
He’s the top prospect in Georgia and one of the very best quarterback prospects in the country. The big 5-star quarterback and future Georgia Bulldog has been terrific in his first season at Buford this fall, and has the Wolves ready to compete for a 7A title. Raiola has shown off his elite arm talent time and time again, making big throws and jaw-dropping passes all season long. He’s thrown for just under 2,000 yards, but he’s thrown for 22 touchdowns and zero INTs. He doesn’t make mistakes and has shown the ability to really sling the ball deep down the field. The talent is easy to see, and if the offensive line can give him some time, Raiola and the Buford offense will be tough to stop throughout the playoffs.
Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA – Carrollton
You can’t write about 7A quarterbacks and leave out the dynamic, Julian Lewis Julian Lewis 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Carrollton | 2025 GA . Just a sophomore, Lewis has proved to be not only one of the best quarterbacks in Georgia, but one of the best across the country regardless of classification. He plays like a seasoned veteran with eye-opening arm talent. He can make all the throws and is coming off the best freshman season any quarterback has ever had in the peach state. As a sophomore, Lewis has thrown for just over 2,000 yards and 31 touchdowns to just one INT. He led the Trojans to the 7A state title game last year, but now, Lewis and the Trojans are looking for more.
