The first thing that caught my attention with Williams, was how quickly he was able to diagnose a play after the snap. This allowed him to be able to plug holes and blow-up plays before they really got a chance to develop. Williams benefitted from this in his coverage as well. Sniffing out screens and quickly breaking on passes to force incompletions was a common theme watching him play.
Enelson Delva
Enelson Delva
He is that valuable mix of fast and quick. Delva can break away with his straight-line speed, but his change of direction ability might be even more impressive. He’s a silky-smooth runner who can move in any direction he wants on a dime. Watch his broad jump and vertical numbers as well because Delva is explosive. He goes from 0-60 very quickly and it sure is fun to watch.
Tailan Hall
Tailan Hall
Hall is more than just an athlete running the ball. He plays smart and has excellent vision. He’s able to see which hole to hit and almost always ends up going through the right one. He knows when to bounce it outside and has a nice jump cut when he takes the run wide. Hall is a good receiving back. He doesn’t have issues with his hands and is dangerous in the open field.
Fletcher is fast. He breaks away and outruns secondary members routinely. Fletcher has excellent vision as well. It looks like he makes the right read and hits the right hole on almost every single play. He also shows good vision on interior runs and will keep his legs churning as much as possible. Is a capable pass catcher in the flats and could have the potential to be even better in mismatches.
Traylen Roberts
Traylen Roberts
Roberts has quick feet, increasing his effectiveness on inside-zone runs where subtle direction changes make a difference. He plays bigger than his listed weight. Roberts can withstand contact better than expected for his weight and will continue getting up field. Committed to sticking to the scheme and intended gap, which helps consistently produce positive yards and avoid setting the offense back. He takes advantage of his opportunities.
