NEW BRUNSWICK-- Last night we took our talents into Saskatchewan and now we shift our tape evaluations to far eastern Canada, as we crash into New Brunswick with more 2025 prospects to know. I have to say I was certainly impressed with this group of prospects so far from New Brunswick as I look to evaluate more in the coming weeks and months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1031102' first='Asher' last='Beckley'], RB, Tantramar (2025) Twitter

Asher is a prospect that plays with solid instincts when the ball reaches his hands as he has efficient field vision and a smooth downhill presence that translates well with that skillset. He also shows off a plethora of durability, although not the biggest tailback you will ever see he accumulates significant yards after contact. He also shows off the fluidity I like from the running back position as a prospect that I see plenty of growth in the coming years growing his agility even swifter. Asher to me certainly looks like a solid U Sports college football prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150126' first='Thomas' last='Emond'], DL, Mathieu-Martin (2025) Twitter

Thomas is a prospect that you can tell by the first few reps on tape, that this kid has a catchy football IQ as a defensive end to know out of New Brunswick. He constantly is in the mesh of the tackle box and intriguing me with his pursuit angles with his tackles which comes with dynamic physicality. Thomas also shows off some soft hands getting off his blocks and is certainly not a defensive end you ever want to give a free lane to the backfield. At 6'2 220 pounds, Thomas looks like a DE prospect that also has some range to grow around the edges of the field as another prospect I would identify as a college prospect in my eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150123' first='Evan' last='Stockman'], ATH, Harrison Trimble (2025)

Commonly used as a slot-back, Evan shows off some elusive instincts with his athletic mobility when he breaks out in space, as a prospect that can make you miss with the agility he shows off in the open field. When lined up at the QB position, I like the finish Evan has as the agile skillsets he has shows him as a player that is opportunistic if his first angle isn't there. At the next-level this kid has plenty of position flexibility and I believe has a high ceiling to produce at the next-level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150121' first='Anthony' last='Milot'], WR, École L'Odyssée (2025)

Anthony is a wide receiver prospect that impressed me on tape with his determination with his vertical, as he showed off poise with the timing and awareness with the sidelines at his disposal. Anthony also impressed me further on tape with his solid hands as he showed well-versed athleticism with every ball he brought to his chest. He has the upside to develop a stronger vision upfield by growing his agility to make a defender miss and get more yards after contact in the open field. However, he does well with his awareness finding the first down sticks which shows that this kid certainly has the upside to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150119' first='Samson' last='Green'], RB, Riverview (2025) Twitter

Another running back that cracked our list in New Brunswick was NBIAA Player of the Year in [player_tooltip player_id='1150119' first='Samson' last='Green'] of Riverview who had over 2000 total yards in the 2023 season and over 23 total touchdowns on his resume. Even though his tape is hard to evaluate with the distance and lack of zoom, what you certainly see out of Samson is smooth early field vision that sets him up for ample yardage downfield which you see consistency on tape. Samson also shows off a sizable burst that shows well from start to finish. Samson is by far my favorite running back thus far out of New Brunswick with a bright college football future in my eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150117' first='Josh' last='Quiros'], DB, Moncton (2025) Tape

Josh is a defensive back prospect in the 2025 class out of New Brunswick that certainly impresses me with his ball tracking ability. He shows off as a defensive back that can pop out out of nowhere and get his hands on the football and makes the smart football play around the ball constantly going for the pass breakup when he doesn't have the perfect ball angle. He shows off very reactive hands and is a cornerback that certainly has intriguing ball instincts. Josh certainly has a great feel and football IQ for the cornerback position and should be a New Brunswick corner that should get some next-level looks.
