For this article, I wanted to focus on the VISAA and VISFL State Playoffs. In this article, I focus on the VISAA Division I champions, the Benedictine Cadets (11-1), and the 8-Man Football VISFL Division I champions, the Christchurch Seahorses (7-1).

Khalil is a playmaker on Benedictine’s defense and has very good ball skills. He is a good athlete with good speed, jumping, change of direction, and agility. He has good vision of the field in Zone Coverage, understanding route concepts, and reading the eyes of the QB to make a break on the ball. He has good ball tracking, timing, and hands to make a play on the ball. He can out-jump taller receivers to deflect the pass and make interceptions. He is a willing tackler and plays good downhill.
Highlights
Christopher Johnson
Christopher Johnson
Chris finished his season with 102 tackles, 15 TFLs, 3 Sacks, and 7 QB Pressures. He has good height and solid size and is a playmaker on the field. He is able to quickly process and react during plays. He has good blocking shedding and agility to get past offensive linemen, and he is a good tackler. He can move from sideline to sideline and can provide rush/blitz help. Chris has received an offer from Emory & Henry, but more schools should be looking at his tape.Hudl / Twitter
Leo Boehling
Leo Boehling
Leo has good height and size. He is a powerful runner with good balance and physical toughness. He will gain you extra yards fighting through arm tackles and will fall forward when taken down. He is a good inside runner, with good patience for his blocks to develop and good burst through the hole. He has enough agility to maneuver through traffic and strength to take on defensive linemen and linebackers. He also provides options in the passing game and is able to run basic routes out of the backfield, displaying soft hands to secure the catch and the ability to gain yards after the catch.
Felix Koerner
Felix Koerner
Felix was a weapon on the field in Christchurch’s eight games this season. He finished with 2849 All-Purpose Yards with 38 TDs, 55 tackles, and 4 interceptions playing QB, DB, and Kick Returner. He is a dual-threat QB, passing for 909 yards and 13 TDs, and rushing for 1180 yards and 18 TDs. In the return game, he racked up 600 yards and 4 TDs. He is a good athlete, his film consistently showed him as one of the fastest on the field, and he has good vision and patience as a runner. He also displayed soft hands as a receiver via trick plays. Colleges should take notice of his film as he is too good of a football player to miss out on and can play a role on a team.
Doug has solid height and weight and plays LG for Benedictine’s offense. He has good footwork that puts him in a position to create good block fits where his good strength and leg drive take over. He has good use of hands, able to quickly strike and latch defensive linemen and turn them away from the hole. He has solid mirror and good anchor in pass protection. He is a junior and has one more season to keep improving his game. He has an one offer from Averette, and I expect he will receive more in the next year.
