Uriah Buchanan Uriah Buchanan 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Snider | 2024 State IN – Snider – RB – 5’11” 180lbs
This season for Snider could be summed up in a few words if they wanted it to. “Give the ball to Uriah.” That’s all they had to do against Decatur Central to win the state title. When he touches the ball, great things happen. He’s such an explosive athlete that you cannot contain him. You hope you can limit the damage, but Decatur Central had no answer. Buchanan busted 2 historically long TDs on the night. First, an 80-yard TD run where he broke to the right, found a crease, made a man miss, and hit the gas. The second was a 95-yard TD run that was even more impressive than the first one. His 3rd TD was in the passing game where they put the game on ice, 33-6. He wore down that defense and was truly too much to hold. With over 200 rushing yards on the night, Buchanan helped guide Snider to their 3rd state title. Wherever he ends up next year, should be landing a star RB with all the tools in his toolkit.

Lukas Rohrbacher Lukas Rohrbacher 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB Snider | 2024 State IN – Snider – LB – 6’0″ 210lbs – 2024
Rohrbacher was a big part of why the Decatur Central offense was anemic today. Not only did he do great in the running game and cancel out more gaps than DC could create, but then he made 2 huge plays. First, when DC began to get desperate and really needed some 4th down conversions, it was Rohrbacher who made the plays. First, a broken-up pass and then the next time they were on the field, got an interception. 2 drives where Decatur Central really needed to make something happen, and Rohrbacher shut them down. He’s a physical LB with a good sense of space and feel. He ends his high school career on top.

Ke’Ron Billingsley – Snider – ATH – 5’10” 155lbs – 2024
Billingsley is a really good athlete and they did their best to get involved and on the field this year. When you have a star like Buchanan, it can get hard not to lose sight of other really talented players, and Snider kept Billingsley’s athletiscm involved enough that the defense had to respect what he brought to the table with it. Not only did he have a few high-effort plays today, including 1 fantastic conversion that kept a drive alive, but then he broke off a 17-yard TD run right up the middle. Anytime this year he needed to make a play, he did, and that was the same for today.
