The Stallions have championship aspirations per usual and up first in their path will be the West Potomac Wolverines. South County finished the regular season 8-2 and a large part of that has to do with the continued excellence of quarterback Jordan Dennis. One of our top ranked (and uncommitted) class of 2024 studs has had a marvelous senior season, one that he hopes leads to some nice fancy hardware. Dennis is a southpaw dual threat scoring machine for the Stallions, can the Wolverines slow him down?

Idrissa Kamara
Idrissa Kamara
One guy that will be tasked with slowing South County down is first team all conference defensive lineman Idrissa Kamara. The young man has had a very productive senior season, also earning all district accolades for his work on the offensive line too. Kamara has the skills to play at the division 2 level, and he will need to play this game smart and error free. A rematch from week 10 where the Stallions bested the Wolverines, I expect a much closer outing tomorrow night.

Coming off last season’s state semi-final appearance the Fairfax Lions are back in the playoffs in hopes for more. A tough start to the season with the injury loss to Georgia Commit Kristopher Jones, derailed the reigning Patriot League champs a bit. One guy who hasn’t slowed down is senior wideout Cam Love, he is blowing up, with many division 2 schools offering. Love is a speedy long striding receiver with a 3.5 GPA, so far he has offers from Emory & Henry, VSU and and UVA Wise, more to come!

Dillon Rhoe
Dillon Rhoe
In my opinion Fairfax vs Edison is one of the top three games to attend this weekend and Dillon Rhoe is just one of many reasons why. He is an outstanding cover corner who most likely will be shadowing Cam Love all evening. That matchup alone is must see, but the game itself is very even across the board, expect a tight knit contest.

Kai Austin
Kai Austin
The Lake Braddock Bruins had a phenomenal 8-2 regular season with tough losses to state powers James Madison and South County. Otherwise this team was nearly flawless each week and junior receiver Kai Austin is as good as it gets. The first team all district selection had a tremendous season averaging close to 80 yards per contest and he hauled in 4 touchdowns. Against a stout Mount Vernon defense, the Bruins would be wise to get the ball in Austin’s hands early and often.

The Majors finished the regular season at 5-5 but close it out on two impressive wins over playoff bound Edison and Annandale. Junior quarterback

came along quite nicely as the season progressed and he should be a huge concern for Lake Braddock’s defense. Grimsley is a two sport start for Mount Vernon and can sling the pigskin with the best of them in Virginia. A 4.1 GPA to go along with his all conference accolades, expect a shootout between these two schools tomorrow.

One of my favorite players to cover William & Mary commit defensive lineman Brady Echols! Selected as the Patriot District defensive player of the year, you do not need me to tell you he is a force to be reckon with. His senior campaign essentially picked back up where he left off as a junior has he tallied over double digits in sacks and tackles for losses. Hayfield will have their hands full trying to contain him off the edge Friday night, do not be surprised if the Hawks game plan around him.

Sahr Moiwah
Sahr Moiwah
One of the smartest players on the field (4.0 GPA) Senior Sahr Moiwah will be up for the challenge of slowing down Echols and company. Transition to safety this year, Moiwah is still uncommitted but I can assure you he can play at the next level. If you do not believe me check out his highlight tape below, the kid will play at least division 2 ball.
