We’ve got all the details below…
Ashton Moore Ashton Moore 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB Alpharetta | 2026 State GA – Alpharetta
A fast-reacting linebacker with great closing speed and natural instincts, it’s easy to see why Moore saw a rankings boost in the latest update. At 6-foot-1 190-pounds, Moore has good size and does a great job of finding the football. He tackles well, can cover backs out in the flat, and knows how to get after and attack the quarterback. He’s instinctual and takes good angles to the ball-carrier. He makes a lot of plays, and now he’s ranked as the No. 40 overall prospect in the state for the 2026 class. He plays on a very talented Alpharetta defense, and still found a way to stand out consistently all season long. Just a sophomore, Moore was all over the field this fall, making 47 tackles, four TFLs, one sack, and one forced fumble through the first 8 games of the season. His stock is on the rise, and his recruitment has a chance to really pick up this off-season.
Alec Upshaw Alec Upshaw 6'3" | 215 lbs | LB Calhoun | 2026 State GA – Calhoun
One of the top linebackers in North Georgia regardless of class, Upshaw brings plenty of size and speed at 6-foot-3 220-pounds. The Calhoun defender shows natural instincts, burst, and great pursuit of the ball-carrier. Upshaw has been timed at 4.75 in a 40-yard dash at a local showcase this spring, a really impressive time for a young sophomore linebacker at his size. He has a promising D1 frame and still hasn’t really scratched the surface of his potential. He’s young, but he’s big, fast, and will only get better and better over the next two years. He’s shown D1-caliber potential, and he’s now ranked as the No. 30 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class. He’s got a lot of tools, and some offers could come his way early in 2024.
Rodney Colton Rodney Colton 6'0" | 180 lbs | LB GA Jr. – Newnan
An impressive defender who can play multiple positions defensively, Colton Jr. was a hard-hitting sophomore who can play outside linebacker along with safety. A rangy defender who can really run, the young sophomore brings plenty of power when he makes a hit on the ball-carrier. He’s instinctive, reacting quickly against the run with the ability to chase down the ball-carrier from behind. Now, he’s ranked as the No. 17 overall prospect in the state for the 2026 class. As good as he already is, he’s only going to get bigger, stronger, and faster over the next two years. The Power Five talent is easy to see, and even as a sophomore, Colton Jr. was consistently one of the better players on the field at all times. Look for a load of offers to come his way this off-season.
