Kevin Beckham Kevin Beckham 5’10” | 180 lbs | WR Baker | 2024 State AL was a super productive receiver in Baker’s offense and paired up with Bryce Cain Bryce Cain 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Baker | 2024 State AL and Josh Flowers Josh Flowers 6’3″ | 210 lbs | QB Baker | 2024 State AL to power one of the most high powered passing attacks in the state this year. Beckham is incredibly talented- he runs some terrific routes, plays with a bunch of speed and quickness, and has some extremely reliable hands that allow him to haul in a bunch of tough to catch passes. Beckham had himself a terrific senior season, he was super reliable all season long and produced a bunch- recording 58 receptions for 863 yards and 6 touchdowns on the year. Beckham is a really shifty and talented receiver, he picked up a good bit of collegiate attention and recently committed to Troy- giving them a seriously talented in state prospect for their 2024 class.
John McIntyre John McIntyre 6’4″ | 230 lbs | TE Athens | 2024 State AL is a seriously talented weapon for Athens, as a tight end he was able to consistently produce as a target in their passing attack and even in their run game as well. McIntyre is a big guy and has some surprising speed to pair with that size as well, he can really move around the field super well and is able to run some great routes, get separation, and haul in passes at a really consistent rate. McIntyre had a big year in Athens’ offense as a target in their passing game this season, he ended up recording 36 receptions for 503 yards and 5 touchdowns. In addition to being a super reliable receiving target, McIntyre was able to rush the ball really effective as well- carrying the ball 100 times for 667 yards and 14 touchdowns. Overall, McIntyre is an impressive athlete and had himself an terrific senior season!
Highlights
Albert “Rosco” Haywood is an explosive wide receiver that really helped open up McGill Toolen’s passing attack a lot in his time there. Haywood is a smaller wide receiver that thrives off of his elite speed and change of direction, he can cut and move around the field to make defenders miss with a lot of ease and has the ability to outrun entire defenses as well. Haywood has been really reliable this season, he can run routes at all levels of the field at a high level and was consistently able to beat defenders to make some crucial catches throughout the season. Haywood has picked up offers from schools like North Alabama, West Virginia, and Stetson- it’ll be exciting to see where he ends up deciding to compete at the next level!
Ziggy Holloway Ziggy Holloway 6’0″ | 170 lbs | WR Tallassee | 2024 State AL is a really talented wide receiver that was a consistent threat to score for Tallassee’s offense every time he took the field. Holloway is a speedster that really has a great ability to stretch the field. No matter who lines up opposite of him, Holloway seems to be able to beat them with his ability to quickly get off the ball, run his route, and get yards after the catch. Holloway had himself a really productive season, totaling up 18 receptions for 328 yards and 5 touchdowns. Holloway just recently decommitted from Georgia Southern and has a number of offers from other schools, it’ll be exciting to see where he takes his commitment in the next couple of weeks as the signing period approaches.
Tavaris Coles Tavaris Coles 6’2″ | 175 lbs | WR McAdory | 2024 State AL is a guy that we have somehow let fly under my radar, he was a super productive weapon for McAdory that balled out this season in his senior year, making a ton of key plays for his offense. Coles had himself a really productive year and got into the endzone a good bit, on the season he recorded 21 receptions for 385 yards and 4 touchdowns. Coles gets a bunch of separation and does a lot with the ball in his hands, he always seems to break off his defensive backs to make huge plays and is able to really stretch the field with his speed. Coles has received offers from Arkansas State, Alabama State, Grambling State, and more! Keep watch of him over the next few weeks, it’ll be exciting to see where he ends up at the next level- he will make an impact wherever he goes!
