Jamison Curtis Jamison Curtis 6’1″ | 210 lbs | LB Saraland | 2024 State AL is an explosive linebacker that really broke out in his senior season for Saraland- he made a ton of plays from sideline to sideline and was a constant threat against opposing offenses for the whole season. Curtis is a big guy with a lot of speed for his size, he can maneuver around blockers really well to make plays in the backfield and also has the ability to pursue after some really fast skill players as well. Curtis has been a valuable member of Saraland’s defense, especially this year where he ended up with 71 total tackles (17 tackles for loss), 2 sacks, and one forced fumble as well as 2 fumble recoveries. Curtis has deservedly gotten a fair share of attention from the next level due to his play and has picked up a good number of offers and recently made a decision regarding his future. Last week, Curtis made the decision to commit to Vanderbilt, the Commodores are getting themselves a really talented, versatile linebacker in their 2024 class!
Nate Thomason Nate Thomason 6’2″ | 205 lbs | LB Helena | 2024 State AL is a really productive and well rounded outside linebacker that has been extremely valuable for Helena’s defense in a lot of different ways. Thomason had himself a huge senior year for Helena and made a wide variety of impactful plays all over the field- on the season, Thomason recorded 141 total tackles (27 of them for loss), 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 6 pass breakups, and one interception. Thomason is super versatile and has a lot of playmaking abilities: he can rush the passer, deliver some huge hits, and is able to use his athleticism to move around and make plays in coverage as well. It’s impressive seeing his progression as a player, he’s going to be a force at the next level. Back in July, Thomason pledged his commitment to Memphis, getting the Tigers a seriously talented player at linebacker that will be a great addition in their 2024 class.

Will Felton Will Felton 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Pelham | 2024 State AL is another talented linebacker that really has made himself known recently, he’s been a key part of Pelham’s defense and has gotten a fair share of attention from the next level because of it. Felton is a heat seeking missile, it doesn’t matter where he starts his plays, he’s going to find himself near the ball, making tackles or affecting the opposing offense in some way. Throughout his senior season Felton has produced a ton, recording 74 total tackles (4 for loss), 3.5 sacks, one interception and two pass breakups on the year. It’s clear that Felton has a lot of athleticism and football IQ when watching him play, he’s going to be a key player for his defense when he gets to the next level. Back in June, Felton committed to South Alabama, getting them a really talented instate linebacker for their recruiting class!
Drew Collins Drew Collins 6’4″ | 235 lbs | LB Minor | 2024 State AL is a talented linebacker that makes his presence felt every time he has taken the field for Minor the last few seasons, he has a knack for making plays in the backfield and is a really promising prospect. Collins had himself a big season this fall, ending up with 23 total tackles (4 for loss) 4 sacks and one hurry throughout the 8 games he played. Collins really thrives off the edge as a pass rusher and is able to generate a lot of pressure/bring down the quarterback at a really efficient rate. Collins has a big frame and a lot of athleticism that he is really going to be able to do a bunch of things with when he heads off to the next level. In the last few weeks, Collins had a change in his recruitment and decided to commit to Arkansas State!
Latori Williams Latori Williams 6’2″ | 205 lbs | LB Central | 2024 State AL has been a really reliable player for Central’s defense the last several seasons, and in his senior season, he repeated a lot of the same success. Williams is an athletic linebacker that has a lot of tools in his bag as a playmaker, he was able to produce a lot for Central this fall- on the year, Williams ended up with 27 total tackles (1 for loss), one interception, and two fumble recoveries. Williams is able to make a lot plays from sideline to sideline and has the ability to really affect both the run and pass- he does well on blitzes, in coverage, and can really get after the ball carrier when he gets in the open field. Williams made the decision to reopen his recruitment back in October when he decommitted from Georgia Southern, it’ll be exciting to see where he ends up at the next level!
