The Tigers’ secondary didn’t let the rainy night dampen their energy or their playmaking, and the sophomore safety came up with one of biggest plays with an interception late in the first half to help halt a Terrebonne drive nearing the red zone.

Leon has done and once again did well with the opportunity, taking care of the football and bouncing a couple solid runs of his own to complement his stable of backs.

The junior linebacker was active in the box, including a big fourth-down stop, and as one of the offense’s leading rushers, including a touchdown near the goal-line for the game’s first points, other physical runs between the tackles and a couple nice runs he bounced to the outside.

Like Lively, the senior leader of Tigers’ stout linebacking corps played big on both sides of the ball, helping stuff the run of Terrebonne and establish the run of Westgate — both with his blocking and his ball-carrying, including the team’s final goal-line touchdown to help put the game away.
