Continue ReadingLouisville won their last game against Caledonia 54-7. They are on a roll right now, and they have won 19 games in a row. Coach Tyrone Shorter has these guys on it. Mendenhall has seen a few down times this season. They still are a great team who we expect to come in and play hard.
Louisville Offense
We can expect to see a very balanced offense from Louisville. They will be running the football trying to keep this team true. They have Jaylin Jordan and Xzarion Haynes Xzarion Haynes 5'9" | 150 lbs | RB Louisville | 2026 State MS that know how to tote the football. These guys both are key factors to Louisville being so successful this season. Louisville also has some very great wide receivers that know how to go and get the football. You can expect to see them tossing it up to Jykevious Goss, Deniro Jackson and Kam Triplett are some leaders on this defense.
Louisville Defense
These guys are studs that get after it on every play. They were very dominant last night against Caledonia. Louisville has one of these dominant teams that are hard to stop this year. These guys are going to ball when they touch the field. TayQuon McKinney is one of the best 2025 players in the state. This kid is built like a machine. Corxavier Coleman is another player that holds things down for them. Look for him to be plugging holes all night for that Louisville defense.
Mendenhall Offense
Mendenhall has Tayton James Tayton James 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Mendenhall | 2024 State MS on their side. This young man knows how to open things up for his offense. He is going to want to be able to hurt Louisville with his legs and arm this week. James will not be a quarterback on the next level, but I think that he is going to be a beast at wide receiver or defensive back on the next level. His feet can be very dangerous for an defense.
Mendenhall Defense
This defense is trying to find themselves this year. They have a lot of great players on the defensive side of the ball, but they lost a lot of starters from last season. They even lost their defensive coordinator to Kemper County as a head coach.
