How It Happened: #1 Canadian scored three touchdowns in the first five minutes for a quick 21-0 lead and rolled to a huge victory over Amarillo Randall. Canadian amassed 540 offensive yards just in the first half for a 35-0 lead at intermission. . .#2 Bushland walloped El Paso Riverside in a neutral site game played at Seminole High School. . .#3 Amarillo held Caprock to 147 total offensive yards in the Sandies’ win at Dick Bivins Stadium. . . #4 Stratford defeated Perryton as QB/DB Bryce Braden threw for 129 yards and 2 TD, rushed for 63 yards and made 16 tackles on defense. . .#7 Canyon rushed for 340 yards in a win over Andrews. . .#10 Tascosa looks to snap a five-game losing streak Thursday night against Lubbock Monterey. . . Pampa rallied from an early 14-0 deficit to beat rival Borger, 34-33 in one of the most exciting Week 6 games in the Panhandle.
Top Performers
Makai Boyce, Pampa: The sophomore RB carried 21 times for 170 yards to lead Pampa to a come-from-behind victory over rival Borger.
Camren Cavalier, Canadian: Cavalier and the Canadian were on fire in the first half against Randall. Cavalier threw for 270 yards and rushed for 170 yards just in the first 24 minutes as Canadian grabbed an insurmountable 35-0 lead.
Reid Macon, West Plains: The Wolves posted a huge victory over Hereford as Macon completed 22-of-24 passes for 248 yards and 4 TD. West Plains totaled 454 total yards.
Armando Lujan, Sunray: Lujan threw for 394 yards on 31-of-44 passing and 8 TDs as Sunray trounced Guymon (OK).
Kyler Read, Dalhart: The Wolves’ QB passed for 205 yards (15-23) and 3 TD while rushing for 129 yards and 2 TD on 28 carries.

How It Happened: #1 Frenship enjoyed a Week 6 bye and begins district play against Midland Legacy. . .#2 Lubbock-Cooper limited Lubbock Coronado to 141 total yards of offense in a convincing win in the district opener. The only points scored by Coronado came on a safety. . .Lubbock Estacado went on the road and trounced Sweetwater. . .#5 Seminole stayed unbeaten by amassing 537 yards of total offense in a huge road win at Big Springs. . .#6 Muleshoe also stayed unbeaten with a victory over Brownfield. The Mules are 6-0 for the first time since 2009. They have scored 40+ points in six straight games. . .

D.J. Johnson, Estacado: The Matadors QB completed 19-of-29 passes for 295 yards and 3 TD to lead Estacado to a lopsided road win at Sweetwater.
Wyatt Holmstrom, Seminole: Holmstrom threw for 431 yards and 7 TD on 29-of-43 passing as Seminole beat Big Springs on the road. Thirteen of his completions were caught by WR Logan McCormick.
Daniel Sianez, Muleshoe: Rushed for 148 yards on 17 carries to lead Muleshoe past Brownfield.
Kouper Boyd, Shallowater: Rushed for 208 yards and 3 TD on 13 carries to spark Shallowater past Pecos.
Boston Winfield, Levelland: Completed 13-of-22 passes for 211 yards and 3 TD in Levelland’s high-scoring loss to Dalhart.
