I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Jack Ellison
Jack Ellison
Jack is overall a fantastic athlete, being very versatile on the field. He makes big time plays on both sides of the ball, playing elite as an wide receiver and linebacker/defensive back hybrid. Ellison was all over the field during his week 7 game. He racked up 8.5 tackles on the defensive side of the ball, along with a sack and interception. Offensively, he had 7 receptions for 199 yards and 3 total touchdowns on the night.
Wyatt Stephan
Wyatt Stephan
Wyatt is an under the radar player that not many people might not know. In my eyes, he has the ability to play at the next level if he chooses too. He’s a great athlete who makes plays on both sides of the ball and has reliable hands as a wide out. During his week 7 performance, he had the best game of his career. He had 7 catches for 197 yards and an outstanding 5 touchdowns on the night.
Bode is getting better and better each and every week. On both sides of the ball, he’s one of the top players in the 2024 class. He’s been proving he’s a top wide receiver by putting up big numbers each week and being extremely reliable. He doesn’t drop the ball often, which is why he gets targeted so much. During his week 7 performance, he had 2 interceptions on the defensive side. Both of those picks would go for touchdowns. Offensively, he had his normal 6 catches for 148 yards and 2 more touchdowns. He’s one of the best playmakers in the state and his future is extremely bright. I look forward to watching his film weekly and truly believe he’s s D1 talent.
Highlights
Kai has improved his overall game a great amount. He catches the ball smoothly and is extremely reliable. He runs great routes and is able to create enough separation for himself to make the snag. Laukkanen had 7 catches for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night during his week 7 performance. Kai is a player who can play at the next level and should have more looks from D2 level schools.
