Omar Mabson Omar Mabson 5’9″ | 200 lbs | RB Auburn | 2026 State AL is a underclassmen that has seriously been showing up for Auburn the last two years- and this past week the dynamic running back put on a show against Opelika. Mabson displayed some elite explosiveness and versatility throughout the game and had a massive performance where he ended up totaling 143 yards and three touchdowns on just 21 carries-he consistently was able to break through tackles to get good yardage and find the end zone a ton. In the receiving department, Mabson also had a good day with 47 yards on 2 receptions, and he also found a way to impact special teams as well with his phenomenal 45-yard kickoff return he had for a touchdown. Overall, Omar Mabson Omar Mabson 5’9″ | 200 lbs | RB Auburn | 2026 State AL had an absolutely ridiculous performance against Opelika that highlighted his highly versatile skill set- whenever the ball got in his hands he found a way to make plays. Keep an eye on him as we go forward, the sophomore running back is killing it this year!
Jared Hollins Jared Hollins 6’4″ | 180 lbs | QB Mary Montgomery | 2024 State AL is an super talented junior quarterback for Mary-Montgomery that has taken their passing attack to the next level, and last week was no exception. Last week, Hollins displayed his elite skills in a standout performance against Davidson. Hollins had an unbelievable day-completing 20 of 30 passes for a ridiculous 363 yards and 5 touchdowns through the air. In addition to his dominance from the pocket, Hollins had a big impact on the ground as well and recorded 6 carries for 65 yards. It didn’t matter what Davidson’s defense threw at Hollins, he had an answer. Hollins went through all of his reads with extreme efficiency and was able to launch the ball all around the field into some tight windows as well. Jared Hollins Jared Hollins 6’4″ | 180 lbs | QB Mary Montgomery | 2024 State AL ‘ remarkable performance against Davidson really showed off his poise, accuracy, and versatility as a quarterback. Keep an eye on this guy going forward, his dual threat abilities are a ton of fun to watch!
Tristan Williams Tristan Williams RB Central | 2025 State AL is an highly productive running back for Central-Phenix City, and last Friday night he had an exceptional performance against Dothan. Williams has a ton of explosiveness and finesse to his game, and everyone could see it with how much he was averaging a carry. Williams had a huge night- posting up an impressive 171 yards on just 6 carries and finding the end zone twice for two touchdowns as well. Every carry Williams got had the potential to go the distance, when he got into the open field he was impossible to catch up with- and Dothan’s defense struggled all night long to contain him. Tristan’s ability to make the most out of each carry and consistently move the chains makes him a super valuable asset for Central-Phenix City’s offense. Keep an eye out for him going forward, this is only the first of many future performances of the like!
Kolby Hearn Kolby Hearn 5’10” | 170 lbs | WR Thompson | 2024 State AL is a talented wide receiver for Thompson that has been a really reliable target for sophomore phenom Trent Seaborn Trent Seaborn 6’1″ | 190 lbs | QB Thompson | 2027 State AL this fall. This past week against Hewitt Trussville Hearn continued to have a large presence in their passing game with one of his best performances yet this year. Hearn’s terrific skill set was on full display Friday night as he hauled in 5 passes for an impressive 182 yards and found the end zone three times, scoring 3 touchdowns. Hearn had the ability to routinely create terrific separation on his routes, haul in big passes, and capitalize on scoring opportunities when they were available- making him a key target all night long. Hearn’s performance against Hewitt-Trussville showcased his potential as a game-changing wide receiver for Thompson’s offense, he’s definitely going to be a player to watch in the 7A the rest of this year!
