I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Hudson is a phenomenal tackler in the open field, being one of the best in the entire state. He is fun to watch play and is 100% able to play at the next level. He is a great athlete, being quick to the ball. Holzhauer racks up a ton of tackles weekly and during his week 6 performance, he had another big week. The senior had 21 tackles on the night.
Highlights
Brayden is the top player in the entire 2024 class, there’s no arguing that. Platt is a standout on both sides of the ball and will be headed to Oregon next year to play for the Ducks. Platt had 8 rushes for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns on the night offensively, but was also a big standout defensively where he racked up 10 tackles, 3 of those being for loss.
Highlights
Elijah Carney
Elijah Carney
Elijah was very efficient in week 6, playing well and covering the field nicely. He is quick on the field and closes the gap well on the ball carrier. Carney has been steady all season, playing at a high level throughout the year. He compiled 8 tackles during his week 6 performance.
Dylan is a player who has been phenomenal all season long. He has been gaining the attention of some college coaches but deservers more looks, in my opinion. He is a great leader and is involved in almost every play, being relentless on the defensive side. During his week 6 performance, Jones racked up 19 tackles on the night and 1 sack.
Highlights
Keagan has had very impressive improvements on all aspects of his game. He reads the quarterback very well at the linebacker position. You can tell he takes his time to study each team Lake Stevens plays by watching a lot of film. He is a great athlete and can play all over the field, being extremely versatile. He is starting to gain looks at the next level, which is absolutely deserved. During his week 6 performance, he compiled 14 tackles on the night.
