I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Carson is a great athlete and is versatile on the field. He can keep up with receivers smoothly, having very solid speed. His footwork stands out on both sides of the ball as he can create enough space for himself on the offensive side. During his week 5 performance, he had 119 total yards for 2 touchdowns but also had an even better day on defense. He had 9 tackles on the night and had 2 passes broken up.
Connor Walcker
Connor Walcker
Connor is a player who I love watching plays. He gives 110% each and every play and is a key piece to this Ferndale team. Connor has great size, standing 6’3″ and 210 pounds. He hits hard, covers ground well, and can read offensives well. During his week 5 performance he had 13 tackles on the night, getting involved quite a bit. On the offensive side he also had 104 receiving yards, with a touchdown. He also had 119 yards rushing with another TD.
Bode is a standout receiver, being a top one within the entire state and has also had solid games on the defensive side of the ball. Bode did have a big day on the offensive side during week 5, having 182 yards on 9 catches with a touchdown. Defensively, he had 10 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 pass broken up. He is a stud football player and any college program will be extremely lucky landing him.
Highlights
Jackson is an underrated prospect who is FLYING under the radar. He has a great frame, being 6’2″ and having athletic ability to out-jump opponents. Almond reads the quarterback nicely and quickly, being able to react quickly if the ball is coming his way. Offensively during his week 5 game he had 11 catches for 145 yards and 1 touchdown. Defensively, he stood out to me even more. He compiled 10 tackles and 2 interceptions on the night.
