The Blizzard have plenty of talent on both sides of the football and should make some noise late here in the season. A few of their top prospects are poised to move on and make a name for themselves at the next level. Keep an eye out for them as the season wraps up and we head into the winter recruiting period.
As always, If you have someone you think I need to see, please DM them to me on Twitter at @hsfbscout!
K/P: Samuel Tremblay Samuel Tremblay 5'10" | 180 lbs | K Notre Dame De Foy | 2024 State CAD , 5’10” 185
Tremblay has a big leg and is deadly accurate on kicks under forty yards. He can easily place punts, shows adequate hang time, and can get it done as a kickoff specialist as well.
TE: Louis Petitclerc, 6’2″ 220
A sure-handed tight-end prospect with good ability after the catch and unmatched physicality in multiple facets of the game. Louis is a reliable threat of play-action, he bounces off opposing tackle attempts and is rarely brought down by the first defender. He’s tough as nails, he has the ability to lineup at all four receiver spots and is a dominant in-line blocker. To me, he’s the most talented prospect on this roster and will have colleges vying for his services very soon.
QB: Anthony Gauthier Anthony Gauthier 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Seminaire Saint-Francois | 2027 CAD , 6’1″ 185
Anthony is a feathery deep-ball thrower who squares his shoulders when throwing on the run and places the football right on his target’s numbers. He has enough zip to fit the football into tight windows and his play-action fakes are deadly & draw defenders up to the line of scrimmage. He’s got a quick set-up and is willing to stand tall in the pocket with the rush bearing down.
DB: Antoine Dagenais
Antonie is a feisty corner that is more than willing to provide run support. He’s got quick feet, instincts, and an overall high football IQ. He’s physical at the point of attack and can stun blockers in their tracks out on the perimeter.
WR: Arthur Boisvert
Arthur has strong hands and the body control to adjust & make tough contested catches. He’s a possession receiver who can make an impact on the inside as a slot or on the outside as an x or z receiver. He’s got his best football ahead of him.
OL: Luka Lazic
When this man pulls he does it with nasty intentions. He’s a road grader with impressive finishing ability. Lazic explodes out of his stance, has the quickness to win the hand placement battle, and will play through the whistle.
