Maddox Georgius Maddox Georgius 6'4" | 250 lbs | OL Millard South | 2024 State NE | OL | Millard South | 6’4″ 250 lbs
Overall: 78 | OL: 14
After earning his varsity spot this offseason, senior Maddox Georgius Maddox Georgius 6'4" | 250 lbs | OL Millard South | 2024 State NE has quickly helped form one of the top tackle tandems with teammate Max Gray Max Gray 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL Millard South | 2024 State NE . Maddox caught our attention earlier this year and has only continued to further develop and fine-tune his craft. At 6’4″ and 250 pounds, Maddox has next-level size and combines it with top-tier mobility and footwork. He’s quick to shoot out of his stance and physical at the point of attack. He has a strong anchor that keeps him from getting moved off his spot and possesses the upper body strength to overwhelm his opponent and finish his block. Maddox holds offers from Dordt and Morningside with teams like Southwest Minnesota State, Washburn, Augustana, Briar Cliff, and several others keeping tabs on him. Jump on him quick!!
Adrian Phillips Adrian Phillips 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Walthill | 2024 State NE | WR | Walthill | 6’2″ 175 lbs
Overall: 136 | WR: 9
One of the more eye-opening players in this round of rankings, Adrian really caught me by surprise. Adrian has gotten off to a great start with 25 receptions for 440 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns while also posting 47 tackles, 2 TFLs, a sack, and 2 interceptions on defense. When you watch his tape, you see a tall, physical receiver who plays bigger than his frame. He made several receptions where he elevated over defenders to high-point the ball. Phillips is very strong through the catch process and can complete receptions while battling through contact. When we checked Adrian’s Twitter and saw he has a basketball background as well, his play style made more sense. Great speed and playmaking ability after the catch as well. I am really looking forward to seeing how the rest of Adrian’s season will play out and really hope to see him at a showcase this offseason. Hiden gem!
Blake Borchers Blake Borchers 6'4" | 205 lbs | TE Battle Creek | 2024 State NE | TE | Battle Creek | 6’4″ 200 lbs
Overall: 187 | TE: 15
Blake is a player that could play either TE or linebacker at the next level, ultimately I really liked his upside as a well-rounded tight end. Although Blake plays in a heavy-run offense, he has still done a great job maximizing his touches with 6 receptions for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 24.7 yards a catch. Blake does very well at exposing defenses between the seams and can create mismatches with his size and athleticism. He’s not a torcher but Blake did show nice acceleration after the catch to tack on extra yardage. Borchers’ willingness to block and be physical has been a great asset for the Brave’s run game. Defensively, Blake tracks and attacks the ball very well, using his length to create problems off the edge. Lots to like about Blake!
Quinton Archer Quinton Archer 5'6" | 165 lbs | RB Bennington | 2024 State NE | RB | Bennington | 5’7″ 185 lbs
Overall: 230 | RB: 25
Next man up in the Bennington backfield! Senior Quinton Archer Quinton Archer 5'6" | 165 lbs | RB Bennington | 2024 State NE has done an excellent job keeping the ball rolling for the undefeated Badgers. Through 6 games, Quinton has rushed for 801 yards, and 5 touchdowns on 132 carries, while also being a valuable receiving target with 10 catches for 216 yards and 3 scores (team leader). Watching Quinton’s tape, the biggest thing that stuck out to me was his versatility. Archer has a good mix of speed and strength that allows him to pound away at defense between the tackles and he has the burst to outrace a defense when rounding out the corner. He shows a lot of patience in letting his blocks get set up and following them very well with great vision. As a receiving target, Quinton does a great job as a receiver coming out of the backfield and had some impressive plays where he improvised to find an open lane for his scrambling QB. Definitely a candidate to keep rising once we see how the rest of the season plays out.
