The junior made s strong case for the week’s most prolific performance around the state with his 316 yards and six touchdowns on 25 carries in his Lions’ 46-12 defeat of L.B. Landry.
William Bell | 6-0, 195 RB/LB | Slaughter Community (2024)
The senior ran for 182 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries to lead his Knights to a 40-12 victory against Northeast.
Marlon Brown Marlon Brown 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Southern Lab | 2024 State LA | 6-1, 185 QB | Southern Lab (2024)
The senior quarterback racked up 232 yards of offense, three passing touchdowns and another rushing score to lead the Kittens past Dunham, 35-23, on the Tigers’ homecoming night.
Freddie Budwine | 6-3, 190 WR/ATH | Vinton (2024)
The Lions fell to Erath, 35-20, but not without a heck of an effort by Budwine with 10 receptions for 206 yards and three touchdowns.
Omar Butler | 5-10, 175 ATH | Crowley (2024)
Butler rolled to 222 yards and four touchdowns on 35 carries in his Gents’ 68-48 loss to Rayne.

The Saints’ star had yet another monster evening of work with 228 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries and 53 yards on five receptions to pace a 24-21 defeat of the previously undefeated Willow School.

The junior rushed 11 times for 193 yards and four touchdowns and completed 11 of 15 passes for 132 yards and another score in a 33-0 shutout of Winfield to improve to 5-0 on the season.
Seth Hoffman-Olmo | 5-11, 175 RB/TE/LB | Albany (2024)
The Hornets’ senior caught nine passes for 140 yards with three touchdowns on offense, recorded two tackles for loss on defense and blocked an extra-point attempt.
Luke Landry | 5-11, 175 QB | Catholic (New Iberia) (2025)
The junior quarterback three three touchdown passes and rushed for another two in his Panthers 36-33 win against Eunice.
Tristan LeBlanc | 5-8, 170 ATH | Elton (2025)
LeBlanc ran 19 times for 161 yards and three scores in a 34-8 defeat of Merryville.

The versatile Cavaliers junior provided pivotal plays in all three phases of the team’s 32-22 defeat of Westgate in one of the most impressive wins of the week: a 90-yard pick-six, a 45-yard touchdown run, an 85-yard kickoff return he nearly took for another score and eight tackles.

One of the state’s defensive players of the week, Rideau totaled eight tackles, including three sacks and four tackles for loss, in a 22-7 defeat of Woodlawn (Baton Rouge).

The Blue Jays’ quarterback passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-20 defeat of Oakdale.
