RB Trae Sechrest – Lake Norman – A Class of 2024 prospect, Sechrest ran for two touchdowns in the Wildcats victory. He is a powerful inside runner with good vision who is a north/south type of runner. He enjoys being physical with the ball in his hands and has the ability to break tackles and push the pile for extra yards. In Lake Norman’s ball-control offense, he is a sure-handed ball carrier who can be trusted with the ball in critical situations.
OL Ethan Calloway Ethan Calloway 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Lake Norman | 2024 State NC – Lake Norman – The LSU commit looked every bit of his 6’7 310 pound frame up close. Playing left tackle, he showed excellent technique in coming off of the football and drive blocking the vast majority of the game, as Lake Norman took control in the second half by wearing down the Cox Mill defense with their running game. The Class of 2024 commit will have Tigers fans happy for the next few years on the next level.
DL Ethan Cameron – Lake Norman – A Class of 2024 prospect standing at 6’2 and 210 pounds, he was everywhere on defense for the Wildcats. He made several tackles in the backfield using a quick get-off at the snap and used his hands to quickly shed blocks of offensive linemen. Ethan also was able to snag an interception and set up his team’s offense deep in Cox Mill territory, leading to a touchdown. On the next level, I think Ethan could play an EDGE type of role given his frame, or possibly some inside linebacker dependent upon a team’s defensive scheme.
WR Jordan Cleaves Jordan Cleaves 5'10" | 155 lbs | DB Cox Mill | 2026 State NC – Cox Mill – At 5’10 and 160 pounds, this Class of 2026 prospect consistently made something happen for Cox Mill with the ball in his hands. He was able to score the first touchdown of the game on a 50-yard TD pass from DJ Smalls to give his team a brief lead. He was able to get some space on some run plays as well – sweeps and did a lot of damage out of the slot wide receiver position as well. I expect Jordan to start getting some recruiting attention during the summer camp season for sure.
