Without any further ado, here’s my list of some prospects at tight end that should be worth keeping an eye on in Week 11.
Highlights
At the top of my list of notable performers is Cameron Jessee Cameron Jessee 6'2" | 230 lbs | ATH Louisville DuPont Manual | 2025 State KY , a 6-foot-2, 230-pound tight end at Louisville DuPont Manual High School. Jessee and the Crimsons are coming off a 48-21 victory over Meade County last week. What impresses me about Jessee is his execution off the snap, blocking ability and route-running ability, showing off his breakaway speed and ability to beat the defense in coverage. Another aspect of Jessee that stands out is his overall field awareness as well as his ability to slip past contact and blast into the backfield.

I am additionally impressed with Dakota Hunter Dakota Hunter 6'1" | 175 lbs | TE Warren Central | 2026 State KY , a 6-foot-1, 175-pound tight end at Warren Central High School. Hunter and the Dragons fell to North Hardin this past week. What I like about Hunter is his electric speed and presence in the backfield, using his quickness to turn around for deep passes and take it to the house. Hunter also stands out with his ability body the defense, break free of coverage and become an open target for his quarterback. Hunter has shown consistent catching ability in the endzone this year.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Andrew Vrbancic Andrew Vrbancic 6'3" | 220 lbs | TE Louisville Male | 2025 State KY , a 6-foot-3, 220-pound tight end at Louisville Male High School. Vrbancic and the Bulldogs claimed a 42-6 blowout win over Bullitt East last week. What stands out most about Vrbancic is his quick execution and physical edge, proving he can escape the defense in the pocket. Another aspect of Vrbancic that makes a difference is his blocking ability, opening up the field for the rush with his commanding strength and ability to withstand defensive pressure.
Highlights
Another skilled prospect to watch for is Tanner Pedroche Tanner Pedroche 6'3" | 225 lbs | TE Lexington Catholic | 2024 State KY , a 6-foot-3, 230-pound tight end at Lexington Catholic High School. Pedroche and the Knights picked up a 72-0 blowout win over Pendleton County this past week. Pedroche makes an impact due to his explosiveness down the stretch, proving he can attack the ball in the air and haul in challenging passes under pressure. I also like Pedroche’s playstyle in the endzone, using his speed to stun the defense in coverage and get open for touchdown passes.

Coming in at number five on my list is Zion Short Zion Short 6'0" | 200 lbs | TE Simon Kenton | 2025 KY , a 6-foot-0, 200-pound tight end at Simon Kenton High School. Short and the Pioneers fell short 24-21 to Ryle last week. Short stands out due to his breakaway speed, catching ability along the edge and his durable edge, proving he can barrel through defenders on his way down the field. Another aspect of Short that impresses is his ability to use bursts of speed to get wide open for deep passes and put his team in the redzone.
