Eli Williams Eli Williams 6’0″ | 170 lbs | RB Petal | 2028 MS is a determined runner that brings it each play. Bring what you ask? Energy, discipline and is not an easy ball carrier to get on the ground. Eli bounces, twists, and pulls out of tackles that when leave you scratching your head. This is due to his second and third efforts and willingness to be that spark for his team. He also, has solid speed to get outside and is at his best when he gets his shoulder pads square heading to the end zone.
Highlights
I wish I had the exact size of this young man because he is definitely built for this position. Mr. Wansley jumps off the screen as you watch him accelerate in and out of holes with such a fluid running style. This kid is a pursuit angle manipulator as well. When you think you have him, you don’t. Being so slippery with his blessed frame is scary for any defense. Anyone looking for a running back will automatically want size, speed, and power. Well keep Douglas Wansley Douglas Wansley RB South Pike | 2028 MS in mind because he has just that right now.
Julius McCallum is 5’10 155 pound multi-sport man child with a large goodie bag. I rarely tag a young athlete as being a complete back, but McCullum might fall into the exception. First off, he has 4.4 speed, reps 225 on the bench, and is close to a 500 squat max. When watching highlights of him leading his team to a District Championship, all I can do is dig deeper. This player wants to be great and takes pride in the little things. How did I come to this conclusion? I challenge you to find another running back that concentrates on the minute details enough to put them on their tape. Julius can block, finishes his play fakes, and he is a beast with the football in his hands. All things considered, he does everything you would want in a primary RB to do about average.
Bailey is a really good-looking 2028 running back prospect who brings tremendous balance–both literally and in playing style. Comes with nice size and strength for only being in eighth-grade, at 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds (unofficially). Has the speed to beat defenses’s to the edge nearly every time, but majority of the runs I’ve seen have come between the tackles. Behind a zone-blocking scheme, he takes the handoff and typically wastes no time getting north and south. Can bust out some jukes if he needs to, but looks like a one-cut n’ go type of back to me
Zacchaeus Campbell Zacchaeus Campbell 5’9″ | 140 lbs | RB Pillow Academy | 2028 MS is a 5’9 140lb running back out of Pillow Academy. He is a talented perimeter ball carrier with a second gear that puts him on top of the secondaries heels before they know it. Offensive coordinators can call outside zone, toss, or quick screens and just watch Campbell get into space and do what he does best. Make plays! I also see him being used in the passing game out the backfield or motioning into a slot position. At the end of the day, Campbell will get chunks of yardage and is a threat 1 on 1.
