Garrett Sherrell Garrett Sherrell 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Brownsburg | 2024 State IN – Brownsburg – RB – 5’8″ 190lbs – 2024
Sherrell isn’t just putting up big numbers, he’s in contention for the leading rusher in the nation. He stands at 8th right now with 1540 yards and 18 TDs with a long of 80 yards. He’s obviously incredibly talented to be putting up those numbers, but he’s still improving week by week. He’s a back who can come out of the backfield, has proven he can handle a massive workload, and has the speed to change the game with any touch. Currently, his recruitment is still open but I’d recommend going after Sherrell before it’s too late.

Teagan Bennett Teagan Bennett 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Lawrenceburg | 2024 State IN – Lawrenceburg – RB – 5’9″ 190lbs – 2024
Bennett is back and rolling to his normal self and coming off his biggest game yet this year. This past Friday, he rushed for 235 yards and 4 TDs and then added a very nice-looking 48-yard reception. His QB rolled out of the pocket and Bennett saw him in trouble, leaked out, and gave him an outlet where Bennett then took off downfield. A heads-up play displaying good football IQ on top of his bigger performance on the ground was a great thing to see. Bennett is a shifty back who could be a versatile weapon but can handle the workload as he’s rushed for 3000 yards and 45 TDs on the ground throughout his career.

Dontell Harris Jr Dontell Harris Jr 5'9" | 170 lbs | DB Morton | 2024 State IN – Morton – RB – 5’9″ 190lbs – 2024
Harris is having his best year yet and still appears to be picking up steam. On Friday, a game that meant quite a bit to Morton was taken over by Harris. They lost the year before and Harris made sure that didn’t happen this year. He rushed for 205 yards and 5 TDs while they cruised past Hammond Central. He’s a physical back who does a great job in between the tackles and then bouncing off would-be tacklers. Rushing for 2500+ rushing yards in 2 years of play is an impressive feat, which is the path Harris is on.

N’po Dodo N’po Dodo 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Decatur Central | 2025 State IN – Decatur Central – RB – 6’0″ 180lbs – 2025
Dodo is catching fire and showing a ton of potential. He’s rushed for over 100 yards and had a TD all of his past 5 games, except the one I was at. While he looked good, he didn’t get quite enough opportunities to get a feel that night. However, he’s since been used more in the passing game and coming out of the field and is helping spark the offense again and again. He’s then dynamic in between the tackles and has the speed to break an 80-yard TD, which is what 1 did Friday. In total Dodo had 168 yards on the ground and 2 TDs. He then added 2 TD receptions, including a diving catch on a wheel route out of the backfield in the red zone. Dodo is dynamic, has over 900 scrimmage yards on the season, and could be a star breaking out right before our eyes.
