Tupelo is upset about losing to Houston (Tenn.) this past weekend. Things are going to be very interesting this upcoming Friday. The game will be played in Tupelo.
What to expect from both offenses
Tupelo is going to have a very balanced offense. These guys are ballers that know how to move the football. Jeremiah Harrell Jeremiah Harrell 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Tupelo | 2024 State MS is the leader of this offense. He is going to be getting the ball to their very talented receivers. One name that we do not mention much from their team is Jaeden Hill Jaeden Hill 5'11" | 220 lbs | RB Tupelo | 2026 State MS . I know he is young, but this guy is going to be a baller. He reminds me of Blount that plays running back for Brandon.
We all know that West Point is going to be counting on Kahnen Daniels Kahnen Daniels 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB West Point | 2024 State MS to do his thing. He already has 984 rushing yards this season. This guy is on a roll. He is going to be going up a very tough defense. West Point is going to try to slow the game down with their running game. They are going to try to test Tupelo’s defense. Last week, Houston (Tenn) put up 35 points against this defense.
What to expect from both defenses
We all know that Tupelo has one of the best defenses in the state. They have some headhunters on this side of the football that love to get after it. Tristan Jernigan and Kahnen Daniels Kahnen Daniels 6'1" | 185 lbs | RB West Point | 2024 State MS are good friends. I am sure these two guys are very excited to be playing against each other. However, they both have a job to do. It is going to be very interesting to see how these guys match up this Friday. Tupelo needs to find a way to stop West Point’s run early. They have Jareylan McCoy on the end. He does not need to be running up this week. He should not have a problem doing that. McCoy is a very disciplined player.
West Point is going to want to make sure they can cover the pass this weekend. It would be wise to get some pressure on Harrell. They have been having some problems passing teams this season. I am very anxious to see how they plan to attack this passing game that Tupelo has.
