I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Baylen Erdmann
Baylen Erdmann
Baylen is a young quarterback but he is one of the top QB’s in his class. He’s confident in the pocket and has great arm strength. He delivers tight spirals to his targets, normally on target. Erdmann has a high football IQ, knowing defenses when he sees them lined up. During his week 4 performance, he went 15/18 for 328 yards and 5 passing touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown. Erdmann is a player to keep an eye on throughout the coming years.
Leyton is a dynamic dual-threat QB who makes plays with his arms and legs. He has a great arm and is able to throw accurately inside or outside of the pocket. He hits his targets right in the chest and controls the pace of the game very well. Martin is a two sport standout, also being a stud on the basketball court. During his week 4 performance, he led Arlington to a huge win while going 16/21 for 316 yards and 4 touchdowns on the night. Be on the watch for this squad going forward.
Josh transferred over to Bellingham HS before the season began & joined his dad, the head coach, for his senior season. Josh has had an amazing start to the season, helping lead Bellingham to a solid start as well. He’s been accurate inside the pocket, hitting his targets in perfect stride and placing the ball only where his guys can get it. During his week 4 performance, he had an all time game by a Bellingham HS quarterback. Leonard went 23/30 for 355 yards and 5 touchdowns, with both the yards and touchdowns being the 2nd most ever in a single game by a Bellingham HS player in the schools history. He’s just recently received an offer from Culver-Stockton College, which is located in Missouri.
Highlights
Landon is a big framed quarterback, standing at 6’3” and weighing about 200 pounds. He’s got a great stature in the pocket and stays calm and collected while in the pocket. Renfroe has a great arm and can accurately place the ball where it needs to go. He has solid mobility, being able to roll outside of the pocket to avoid defenders and can gain yards when needed.
Highlights
I’ve included Rocco a lot on these lists but it’s impossible not too keep putting him in when he has performances like he did, every week. Koch is a player who plays at a very high level and is a top quarterback in the entire state. He should be on college coaches radars and has the abilities to play at a low D1, if you ask me. During his week 4 performance he kept his hot streak alive by going 15/19 for 273 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 31 times for 212 more yards on the ground and an insane 3 MORE touchdowns on the ground. He gained over 490 all purpose yards with 6 touchdowns. He’s a stud on the field and is someone who has an eye popping performance weekly.
