I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Hollis is coming into this season as the main ball carrier for the Lyncs. They are known for pounding the rock and they are continuing to do so. Owen was a workhorse in week 2, having 27 rushes for an impressive 119 yards on the ground. He also racked up 3 total rushing touchdowns on the night. He is a player to watch out fir going forward.
Antoine is a top 10 overall player in the 2025 class for a reason. As I told him the day after the game, big time players make big time plays. Lee had a game winning 99 yard punt return for a touchdown during his week 2 game, giving Kentwood the win. He did a lot more than just that as he also had 24 rushes on the ground for 148 yards and a touchdown. He’s overall a fantastic athlete who is only going to keep improving.

Rashaad Gerona-Chatters
Rashaad has flown under the radar but I don’t think he will much longer. He is off to a hot start to begin his senior year and isn’t looking to slow down. He runs over opposing players and also has the speed to out run them in the open field. He had 24 rushes for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground during week 2. Coaches need to have Rashaad on their radars.
Talan Bungard

Talan is the lead running back for this Golden Eagles team after they lost Isaiah Carlson, who is attending UCLA. Bungard did a phenomenal job week 1, leading Ferndale to the upset victory over Lynden. Bungard didn’t stop there. He continued to dominate defenses during his week 2 game where he had 18 rushes for 133 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Reylen is a fantastic athlete who has very impressive speed and tremendous moves in the open field. Witherspoon plays around a ton of playmakers and there are only so many plays in a football game. During his week 2 game, he managed to have 8 rushes for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns. The more impressive part is the fact he did his in only 2 quarters of play. He is going to improve on a week by week basis and is going to be very impressive in the future seasons.
