These articles will be highlighting top performances by position each week, I wanted to say there are MANY other quarterbacks who could be put on this list. I am listing the players who’s stat line stood out, who people recommended, and players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. For the best chance to be featured, send me your weekly film on twitter. My handle is “@DevinRecord”, please don’t have any hard feelings if you weren’t included.
Kolton was lights out week 1 against Garfield. He was making every throw and was hitting his receivers in perfect stride. He showed a ton of leadership leading his team to a big time victory week 1. He was locked in throughout the game and completed 25/35 passes for 322 yards and a whopping 6 touchdown passes. He did also throw an interception in the game. He controlled the offense all night very well and is ready for a big breakout season.
Highlights
Brady is a sophomore currently but certainly doesn’t play like one. He is very confident in the pocket and is able to deliver tight spirals to his teammates with ease. He can throw the ball inside the pocket or outside of the pocket, being able to roll either way effectively. He threw for over 400 yards and had 6 passing touchdowns during his week 1 victory.
Gabriel Conklin
Gabriel Conklin
Last year Gabriel lined up at the wide receiver position and was very efficient, having over 600 yards receiving and 6 touchdown catches on the season. This season he is starting at the quarterback position and had a phenomenal week 1 showing, his first game at QB. He threw for 202 yards to go along with 3 touchdowns and ran for 42 yards and 2 more scores on the ground.
Rocco is a top quarterback within the entire 2024 class and showed everyone why last week during his week 1 performance. He was EXTREMELY efficient, completing 10 of 11 passes for 193 yards and 5 touchdowns. He ran the offense very smoothly, productively leading his team down for a scoring play very often. Koch also contributed 128 yards on the ground with another touchdown rushing.
Highlights
Michael is a bit under-rated in my eyes for the class of 2024. He is a top 10 quarterback within the state in my eyes and always is efficient and leads his team very well each week. During week 1, he completed 15 of 18 passers for 300 yards passing to go along with 5 touchdowns through the air. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was mentioned again during an upcoming week.
