For over five decades, we have run scores and posted top performers throughout the season, knowing who reads our content. We do not just pick up our work in August and put it away. This is something we do every day of the year, and that’s why we have been followed and recognized.
Today, with the fourth week in the rearview mirror, we bring you some top performance across the Sunshine State:
Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy 2024 QB Anthony Barbar Anthony Barbar 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy | 2024 FL was 20/32 for 283 yards and 5 touchdowns. He hasn’t thrown an interception this season. 2024 Athlete Evan Tempro had 6 catches for 112 yards and a touchdown. He added 3 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and a sack.
Gulf Breeze 2024 QB Battle Alberson was 30 of 42 for 463 yards, 8 touchdowns and 97 yards.
Jack Shuker Jack Shuker 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Evangelical Christian | 2024 FL , Athlete, 2024, Fort Myers Evangelical Christian had a tremendous game with 7 receptions for 165 yards, 1 TD, 6 tackles and 1 pass breakup.
2026 Harper Campbell, LB, Niceville finished with an interception for a score, a forced fumble, 9 tackles, 4 tackles for loss.
Anthony Hall, 2024 QB Pensacola Escambia 16 of 27 for 260 Yards and 4 touchdowns.
2024 QB Eli Manley, Port Charlotte was 11 of 18 for 212 yards and 4 touchdowns.
2024 LB Elijah Perry kept his Bradenton Manatee Hurricanes unbeaten with seven tackles – two tackles for loss.
2026 QB Mason Brown from Port St. Lucie Tradition’s Prep completed 7 balls for 144 yards and 2 scores.
Delray American Heritage 2024 kicker Jake Weinberg Jake Weinberg 5'9" | 165 lbs | K Delray American Heritage | 2024 FL was good from 52. Also 2/2 on PAT’s. He is committed to FSU.
Miramar 2024 QB Kael Alexander Kael Alexander 6'4" | 195 lbs | QB Miramar | 2024 FL was 10 of 17 for 211 yards and 5 touchdowns.
2025 DL Coconut Creek Nimari Brantley had 8 tackles and 2 sacks in the Cougars win.
In Pembroke Pines West Broward’s win over Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer, the defense stood strong – with Jayden Stephens (7 total tackles, 1 assisted), Carlos Morales (10 total tackles, 4 assisted, 1 TFL 1 assisted sack 1 QB hurry), Luis Rojas (7 total tackles, 3 assisted, 2 sacks 1 assisted sack), Nico Vazquez (9 tackles, 3 assisted, 3 TFL, 1 QB hurry) and Max Taboada (5 total tackles, 1 TFL 2 sacks 1 QB hurry) leading the way. On offense, QB Jonathon Morillo (16/25 244 yards and 3 TDs, Josh Moore (7 catches 111 yds 3 TDs) and Jonathon Lawson (6 catches 75 yards).
Emarian Triplett from Pinellas Park carried 27 times for 176 yards.
Manasseh Alexis Manasseh Alexis 6'0" | 195 lbs | LB St. Petersburg Northeast | 2025 FL , St. Petersburg Northeast finished with 12 tackles and 1 interception and Jeff Jones had 3 rushing touchdowns and 175 yards.
Orlando Boone head coach Andy Johnson registered his 100th coaching win.
Ben Burk passed for five touchdowns and 186 yards to lead Ponte Vedra. Ryan Smith, Cole Madson, Griffin Owen and Landon Okla Landon Okla 6'2" | 220 lbs | TE Ponte Vedra | 2025 State FL caught scoring plays.
Brandon Wallace ran for a touchdown and threw a scoring pass to freshman receiver Mike Conner for Orange Park Oakleaf. Christopher Foy Jr. rushed for a score.
Daytona Beach Mainland QB D.J. Murray scored along with Rodney Hill Rodney Hill 5'10" | 205 lbs | LB Daytona Beach Mainland | 2024 State FL ‘s two scores for the unbeaten Bucs.
Torin Brazell’s pair of pick-sixes highlighted another banner night for the Bradford defense. Chalil Cummings Chalil Cummings 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Starke Bradford County | 2024 State FL also caught a TD pass from Dae’Jon Shanks.
Gainesville Buchholz’s Myles Graham Myles Graham 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Gainesville Buhholz | 2024 State FL ran 97 yards for a score, finishing over 200 yards, and Trace Johnson finished with over 200 yards. Receiver Justin Williams went over 170.
Orlando Bishop Moore standout 2025 QB Bjorn Jurgensen’s late TD run put the game away for the Hornets.
Tony Williams Tony Williams 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Wellington Palm Beach Central | 2025 State FL intercepted two passes and also scored on offense as Jacksonville Ed White rolled. Darien Hookfin rushed for two scores and Nick Roberson added another.
Shermon Davis rushed for a 60-yard touchdown and Kennvontae Sharrow ran for 122 yards and two scores to help Jacksonville Riverside. The Generals’ pass rush recorded six sacks, two for Chavez Williams.
Nate Blair rushed for two scores to lead Jacksonville Episcopal. Carson Magyar found the end zone and Alexander Hillyard booted his sixth and seventh field goals of the season.
Cartez Daniels ran wild for two early touchdowns, and Baylor Ford scored one touchdown rushing and one passing to Andru Siemer to lead Keystone Heights. Jackson Parmeter also scored a kickoff return and Jackson Herman took a pick back.
Miami Edison 2025 RB Sterling “Juice” Joseph had 129 yards and a touchdown in a huge district win against Miami Northwestern.
Touchdown rushes by Kenyon Gardner and EJ Lundy combined with four takeaways helped Jacksonville Paxon. Isaiah Watts fumble return was vital as well.
Spruce Creek got a pair of touchdown catches from do-it-all receiver Tony Kinsler in the second half.
Merrick Rapoza rushed for two scores and Gino Addison and Iyen Addison each added rushing touchdowns for Green Cove Springs Clay.
2024 LB Johnny Wright, Melbourne had 13 solo tackles – 18 total and 2 fumble recoveries.
Cibastian Broughton Cibastian Broughton 5'10" | 160 lbs | QB Orange Park Fleming Island | 2025 State FL 2025 QB Fleming Island finished with 12 completions for 180 yards and 1 TD. He also added 92 yards on the ground.
Quarterback Edward Jordan completed 23 of 33 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for a score in St. John’s Beachside’s win.
Corner Micah Ragin intercepted two more passes, giving him five in four games, helping St. Augustine Tocoi Creek. Hudson Brewer and Carson Collins were solid on defense.
Jason McDaniel returned an interception for a touchdown to lead Madison County.
D’Ante Simms and Camden Boyd made everything possible on both sides of the ball for Fernandina Beach.
Quinton Moore scored two touchdowns and Tyler Jackson and Josh Johnson made a crucial fourth-quarter plays to lead Orange Park.
Three Jackson Hadden touchdowns, including passes to Grant Tedder and Camren Russell, led unbeaten Jacksonville Christ Church.
Tommy Offord rushed for two scores and threw TD passes to Trenton Williams and Keymari Hall for unbeaten Palatka.
Lake Butler Union County rolled to a 49-12 win over Gainesville P.K. Yonge (2-1), with three rushing touchdowns by Toren Tyson and two by Drew Simmons.
Four big plays got Eau Gallie rolling. Mekhi Biggs caught a scoring pass for 25 yards from Mari Crooms, who also rushed for a 30-yard score. Crooms threw another touchdown pass to T.J. Robinson for 55 yards, and Tay Welch scored on the ground from 70 yards out.
Dean Roberts kicked a 50-yard field goal with 7:55 to play in the third period to give Titusville a 4-0 start for the first time in 20 years.
In Rockledge, the Raiders got rushing touchdowns from Jaylen Heyward Jaylen Heyward 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Rockledge | 2024 State FL , Jaelyn Bradley and JaMarcus Giscombe.
Merritt Island remained perfect as Chris Kelley and Kaseem Ross each rushed for a pair of touchdowns. Chase Karpovich hit a pair of field goals.
Viera broke a 15-game on-field losing streak as Chase Cromartie Chase Cromartie 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Viera | 2025 FL 32/38 358 yards passing 5 touchdown passes. 90 yards rushing, 1 rushing touchdown. Bruce Tucker caught two of the touchdowns.
Oviedo quarterback Jackson Latour passed for 386 yards and four touchdowns while running for the team’s fifth score against Palm Bay Heritage.
Izaiah Williams Izaiah Williams 6'0" | 165 lbs | WR Wesley Chapel Wiregrass Ranch | 2024 State FL ‘ 99-yard touchdown reception, Anthony Carrie Anthony Carrie 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Tampa Carrollwood Day | 2024 State FL ‘s 80-yard scoring run, Tayshaun Burney Tayshaun Burney 5'9" | 155 lbs | DB Tampa Carrollwood Day | 2024 FL ‘s 71-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, Bredell Richardson Bredell Richardson 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Tampa Carrollwood Day | 2024 State FL ‘s 60- and 36-yard TD receptions, and Tavoy Feagin Tavoy Feagin 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Tampa Carrollwood Day | 2024 State FL ‘s 56-yard pick-six paced Tampa Carrollwood Day over Clearwater Calvary Christian.
Miami True North Academy 2027 QB Zac Katz continued to impress with a 10 or 14 performance that was good for 317 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Miami St. Brendan RB Widley Jean Francois Widley Jean Francois 5'9" | 180 lbs | ATH St Brendan | 2024 FL carried the ball 19 times for 224 yards and a score.
Fort Lauderdale NSU University School remained unbeaten with a major win against Boca Raton St. Andrew’s Academy. RB Jacques Dixson (18 Carries for 105 Yards-, QB Jett Yurgealitis Jett Yurgealitis 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB NSU UNIVERSITY | 2024 FL (13/23 for 204 and 2 touchdowns) and WR Belel “JuJu” Logan (Caught 2 balls for 116 and a pair of scores. OL Shane Martinez Shane Martinez 5'11" | 220 lbs | OL NSU University | 2027 FL had 5 pancakes and 3 drive blocks.
Jonathan Harding 2025 TE/LB, The Villages had 4 sacks, 3 tackles for loss, 3 additional tackles on defense. Offensively, he had 2 receptions for 25 yards.
2026 DB/WR Trenton Gummer Trenton Gummer 5'10" | 160 lbs | DB Orlando Bishop Moore | 2026 FL , Orlando Bishop Moore, had 14 targets (4 rec, 26 yds, 0 TDs) 2 PBUs 1 INT, 1 tip INT 4 tackles. 2025 QB Bjorn Jurgensen had 123 yards passing, 106 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.
Michael English, 2024 Athlete, Jensen Beach came up with 3 receptions for 60 yards and 2 scores.
Plant City came up with a huge rivalry win as RB Tony Marshall ran for 90 yards, QB Chris Denson contributed with 189 yards (96 passing, 93 rushing) and threw for a touchdown and Michael Bell finished with 10 tackles and a forced fumble.
Dover Strawberry Crest continues to roll as RB Devin Blunt (132 yards and three touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball and came up with an interception on defense), RB Roosevelt Miller (88 yards and a touchdown) and Malachi Johnson chipped in with four tackles and two sacks.
In a huge victory, Riverview Sumner WR Malik Brown had three catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns, WR Tyler Williams Tyler Williams 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Riverview Sumner | 2025 State FL came up with six catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns and QB Greg Smith III (combined for 363 yards (329 passing, 34 rushing) and six touchdowns (five passing, one rushing).
Tampa Bay Tech continued to show why the Titans are among the best teams in the state as RB Rod Gainey Rod Gainey 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Tampa Bay Tech | 2024 State FL Jr. (117 yards and a touchdown) and QB Logan Rogers Logan Rogers 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Tampa Bay Tech | 2026 FL (threw for 147 yards and three touchdowns) on offense. Defensively, Matthew Stahl (six tackles and two sacks), Johnnie Tyson (picked off two passes) and Cyler Ward (finished with four tackles, two sacks).
Dallas Golden Dallas Golden 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Tampa Berkeley Prep | 2025 State FL , RB, Tampa Berkeley Prep had an impressive 207 yards and three touchdowns.
Lutz Steinbrenner had a big week as receivers Brenan Lowe Brenan Lowe 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Steinbrenner | 2025 FL (nine catches for 136 yards) and Brady Messenger (nine catches for 86 yards and two touchdowns) and QB Ty Robinson (353 yards and three touchdowns) made an impact on offense. DL William Miller (finished with 11 tackles and a sack.
Riverview was offensive this past week as RB Rico Shoats (135 yards and two touchdowns) and QB Aaron Turner Aaron Turner 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Lennard | 2024 FL (144 yards (97 passing, 47 rushing).
Leondro Gutierrez, OLB/RB/Long Snapper, Oviedo The Master’s Academy had 12 tackles, multiple assists, 4 carries for 30 yards, 7/7 on long snaps and a 17 yard run for a touchdown.
Chris Boddie, Jr., RB, Deltona Pine Ridge had 298 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns, including the game winning score. It is the team’s best start since 2008.
Dylan Pelliccio Dylan Pelliccio 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB West Broward | 2025 State FL , QB, Hollywood Hills had 217 yards passing, 50 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.
Juan Gainous Juan Gainous 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Olympia | 2024 FL , 2024 QB, Orlando Olympia, 14 of 21, 240 yards and 3 Touchdowns. 44 Yards, 1 Touchdown.
2024 DB Luke Ghannam, Estero had 3 interceptions – returning one 50 yards for a touchdown, 7 tackles, and 2 pass break ups. Total of 75 return yards.
Sadler Soles Sadler Soles 6'1" | 285 lbs | DL Clewiston | 2025 FL , C/O 25, OL/DT, Clewiston, finished with12 pancake blocks, 3 tackles and 1 tackle for loss.
2025 WR Branden Hoch, West Boca Raton came up with 125 yards and two scores for the Bulls.
Somerset Silver Palms had some quality performers for this week. 2026 QB Humberto Serrano (10/16, 140 2 touchdowns), Athlete Robert Reddish Robert Reddish 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Somerset Silver Palms | 2024 FL (3 receptions for 44 yards and a score. He also had an interception and a sack and forced fumble), Jayden Cruz (2 sacks and a forced fumble), Jordan Lyons (6 tackles and a blocked punt that he also recovered for a TD).
In St. Petersburg Shorecrest’s win, Nick Bearden ran for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Ahman Crumity added 90 yards and QB Dylan Hobbs was 4-4 for 101 yards.
Pinellas Park came up with a big win over St. Petersburg Lakewood as RB Emarian Triplett ran for 179 yards and QB Jaden Casanova went for 176 yards and a touchdown.
The Largo Packers continued to impress as DL Jacobi McDaniel came up with five tackles and a sack, RB Malachi Peterson Malachi Peterson 6'0" | 190 lbs | ATH Largo | 2025 FL ran for 120 yards and a touchdown. Bari Williams also chipped in with four tackles and an interception return for a score.
New Port Richey River Ridge’s win against Gulf produced Lane Bache, River Ridge: Threw for 101 yards and a touchdown in a win over Gulf. Dareal King, River Ridge: Had three catches for 86 yards in a win over Gulf. Deanthony Patterson, River Ridge: Rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in a win over Gulf.
Hudson remained unbeaten as QB Riley Blevens (182 yards and three touchdowns), RB James Conley (179 yards and two touchdowns), WR A.J. McFarlane A.J. McFarlane 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR Hudson | 2024 FL , Hudson (three catches for 69 yards and a touchdown) and DL L.L. Warren, who had 12 tackles.
How about those Tarpon Springs Spongers! In a big win against Palm Harbor University, George Stamas (six tackles and a forced fumble), Jordan Thomas (10 tackles), Tyrek Winthrop (10 tackles), QB Geramyah Porter (170 yards – 76 passing, 50 rushing, 44 receiving – and scored two touchdowns) and RB Parkees Harris (103 yards and a touchdown).
Tarpons Springs East Lake got into the win column as RB Ray Barnes (112 yards and two touchdowns), QB Eli Millian (99 yards and a touchdown) and RB Will Mirabella (179 yards (141 rushing, 38 receiving) and three touchdowns) all made a major impact.
St. Petersburg Northside Christian continued a tremendous start as WR Gavin Richardson (seven catches for 140 yards and a touchdown) and Zion Watson (four tackles and an interception).
2026 QB, Sabby Meassick Sabby Meassick 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Tohopekaliga | 2026 FL , Kissimmee Tohopekaliga was 44 of 53 (83%) for 485 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Samuel Mitchell IV, Pembroke Pines Charter, football: Mitchell IV recorded four sacks, six tackles including five for loss, forced four fumbles and recovered one to lead the Jaguars to a win over Coral Springs Taravella and the school’s first-ever 4-0 start.
