Jaden Brock – North Gwinnett
One of the more productive pass-rushers in Gwinnett County right now, Brock is still flying under the radar, even though he’s off to a tremendous start to his senior season. A tough, instinctive defender who uses his quick hands and strong effort to shed blocks, Brock is as dependable as it gets on the North Gwinnett defense, making 28 total tackles so far this fall with 15 TFLs and an eye-opening nine sacks. Five of his nine sacks came in one game against Archer where he got to the quarterback all night long. Even when he does’t get to the quarterback, the 6-foot-4 230-pound pass-rusher is still causing pressure. He’s been extremely active, and tough to block for the 7A offensive linemen going against him. He’s been a reliable defender for the Bulldogs and is showing the ability and potential to play at the next level.
Tyler Moore Tyler Moore 6'2" | 270 lbs | DL Luella | 2024 State GA – Luella
An absolute wrecking ball in the middle of Luella’s defensive line, Moore is a force in the middle of the trenches who can blow up any particular play. He’s a game-wrecker, and he’s flashed dominance throughout the early part of the 2023 season. He plays like a bear attacking his prey. He shows good burst off the snap and has lived in the backfield this year. It’s been a tough year for Luella so far, but Moore has been a consistent defender, making 47 tackles and an unbelievable 27 TFLs so far this year according to MaxPreps along with 8.5 sacks. Nobody has been able to block him and he’s left some major bruises every Friday night. He’s recorded at least five TFLs in every game so far this year along with at least one sack in every game. His numbers are through the roof and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
An under the radar defender to know in Cobb County, Natt has been a menace for opposing offensive linemen this year. A thick, powerful lineman with some versatility, the impressive junior has been incredibly productive to start the 2023 season. Through the first five games of the season, Natt has made an eye-opening 32 tackles, 13 TFLs, and six sacks. He can win battles with his deceptive burst and quickness of the snap, but he really flashes when he decides to just overpower his opponent. He plays with leverage to shed blocks, and when he’s done, he knows how to attack the quarterback and deliver a sound tackle. He’s been tough to handle all season long, and was a game-changer early in the season against Allatoona where he made four sacks in that one single game. He’s dominated so far as a junior and could see some offers come his way soon.
