Castle and Evansville Bosse show off their offenses in a high-scoring affair. The scores from Week 3 in the SIAC are below:

Vincennes Gets It Done on the Road
Vincennes Lincoln traveled to “The Bowl” against Mater Dei in Week 3. They were victorious and improved their record to 2-1 on the season. 2024 QB Xander Hunt had another great game. Through the air, he went 6/10 101 yards and 2 TDs. The reigning SIAC P.O.T.Y. had 20 carries for 125 yards and 1 TD. The senior QB has 2 passing TDs and 3 rushing TDs through the first 3 weeks of the season. 2025 LB Will Hambrick Will Hambrick 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Vincennes Lincoln | 2025 State IN had a productive day on defense having 9 tackles on the night. Vincennes heads back home for a Week 4 battle against Central. Mater Dei has a tough Week 4 opponent as they have a road game against Memorial.
North Picks Up a Big Win at Home
North picks up a win at home in Week 3 after a shutout loss in Week 2. The offense was in abundance on Friday and was led by senior QB Sam McKinney. Sam accounted for three TDs in Week 3. Through the air, Sam went 11/23 137 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. McKinney got it done on the ground with 6 carries, 65 yards, and 2 TDs. Junior RB Jason Rucker contributed on the ground with 9 carries, 82 yards, and 1 TD. Senior RB Cainen Northington Cainen Northington 5'10" | 160 lbs | RB Evansville North | 2024 State IN had his share of the ball 3 times for 61 yards and 1 TD. North’s defense was led by senior defensive linemen Kaleb Harris and Jayden Hazelwood Jayden Hazelwood 6'3" | 315 lbs | OL Evansville North | 2024 State IN . Kaleb had 7 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and 2 sacks. Jayden had 6 tackles, 3 TFLs, and 1 sack. Evansville North is on the road against undefeated FJ Reitz in Week 4. Harrison will travel to Castle in Week 4.
Reitz Keeps Rolling in Week 3
Reitz continues to stay undefeated through the first three weeks of the season. Senior WR Roland Vera Jr Roland Vera Jr 5'9" | 175 lbs | ATH FJ Reitz | 2024 State IN . stole the show with 10 receptions, 141 yards, and 1 TD. 2025 RB Jasseim Ussery had a dominating game on the ground with 26 carries for 134 yards and 1 TD. Senior LB Ayden Wells Ayden Wells 5'10" | 215 lbs | LB Evansville Reitz | 2024 State IN led the team in tackles with 15 and had 3 TFLs and 1 sack. 2026 LB AJ Coates had an impressive game on defense with 9 total tackles on the night. FJ Reitz will look to remain unbeaten in Week 4 when they are home against Evansville North. Jasper will be home against Bosse in Week 4.
Memorial Dominants in Week 3
Memorial put this game away in the first quarter when they scored 28 points to start the game. Matthew Fisher went 9/11 for 131 yards, and 3 TDs. Luke Ellspermann had 3 receptions for 67 yards and 3 TDs. KWU commit Porter Rode Porter Rode 5'9" | 195 lbs | RB Evansville Reitz Memorial | 2024 State IN found his way into the endzone on Friday. Junior LB Alex Broshears Alex Broshears 5'10" | 200 lbs | LB Evansville Memorial | 2025 State IN was the star on defense for Memorial. Alex only played a quarter and a half and ended up with 8 tackles, 2 TFLs, and an INT for a TD. Evansville Memorial is back home against Mater Dei in Week 4. Evansville Central travels to Vincennes looking for their first win of the season.
Castle Wins in a Shootout Against Bosse
This game was not short of offense. Both teams had impressive performances on offense. Castle was led by Maximus McCool Maximus McCool 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Castle | 2025 State IN with 16 carries, 209 yards, 3 TDs, 2 receptions, 68 yards, and 1 TD. Senior QB Caden Gordon Caden Gordon 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Castle | 2024 State IN was productive through the air going 11/18 181 yards, and 3 TDs. Antonio Harris Antonio Harris 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Castle | 2024 State IN had 10 carries, 54 yards, 1 rushing TD, and 1 receiving TD. Even though Bosse ended up on the losing end, senior QB Elijah Wagner balled out. Elijah had the most impressive stat line in Indiana on Friday. Through the air, he went 18/31 207 yards, and 2 TDs. Elijah carried the ball 46 times for 323 yards, and 3 TDs! Castle had five defensive players with double-digit tackles on the night. Trey Ward with 15, Gavin Leach Gavin Leach 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Castle | 2025 State IN with 13, Landon Holder Landon Holder 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB Castle | 2024 IN with 12, Connor Richards with 11, and Benny Patterson Benny Patterson 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Castle | 2025 State IN with 10. Castle looks to keep their winning streak alive against Harrison in Week 4. Bosse will be on the road against Jasper on Friday.
