Campbell checks into our rankings as a top 30 linebacker at the position across the state, and is very athletic for the inside position and should be a very solid next level guy moving forward. On his Junior season tape, he has shown that he is a banger inside the tackles that triggers quickly, and can take on lead blockers while quickly getting off blocks and is a sure tackler in traffic. Out in space, he shows redirection abilities and closing speed while taking good angles in the open field and is able to weave through traffic while sniffing out plays in the flats as well. Rangy, strong and a very smart player that has cover abilities, he should fit nicely at inside backer in college.
Mason Kelly
Mason Kelly
Kelly has been one of the mainstays of this elite Folsom defense over the past couple of seasons, and 2023 is no different. Coming off a spectacular 2022 campaign where he was all over the field outside the tackles and very active in the run game, Kelly is one of the best players in the SFL regardless of position and is a no brainer next level caliber kid. On tape, he shows that he can play fast, closes quickly and provides pressure from various angles of the defense while able to scrape over the top and explode through contact in the hole. He is a true plug in the middle of the Folsom defense, and is always a multi-tackle kid every week that flies around the football and is a high motor player that runs through ball carriers and is the leader of the defense.
Hakim Reynolds
Hakim Reynolds
Reynolds is part of this loaded grant defense filled with next level prospects, and is one of the names that keeps popping up across the region as one of the top defenders northern California has to offer. He is a extremely fast and rangy inside backer that covers a ton of ground from the second level, and runs through contact in the box while violent at the POA. He shows that he can quickly diagnose plays and get around traffic to get to the ball carrier while taking good angles in the open field and is able to pursue backside/track down from behind the LOS. Reynolds has the frame to pack on more weight as he progresses through his college career, and is a next level kid with plus athleticism that should make a impact on a college roster.
