We have seen a lot of great performances this year. These guys I will mention are players that have went above and beyond to help their team this season. These guys will be the elite players of 4A.

Mr. 7A

There are a few guys that are balling in 7A this year. I think that this group will come down to [player_tooltip player_id='344082' first='Anthony' last='Maddox'], [player_tooltip player_id='139635' first='Daniel' last='Hill'], [player_tooltip player_id='273258' first='Trey' last='Petty'], and [player_tooltip player_id='139597' first='Braylon' last='Burnside']. All four of these guys have started off the season doing well. Burnside needs around 1100 more yards to be the All time receiving leader for Starkville High School. He is committed to Mississippi State. He is going to be my pick for Mr. 7A.

Mr. 6A

Mr. 6A is going to be a tricky one. There are some names out there that you may not mention, but I think will make the cut. Jay Williams is a guy from Grenada that has been popping off very big this season. He is a guy that I think is going to be a sleeper for this award. I also think that [player_tooltip player_id='336104' first='Kamarion' last='Franklin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='277806' first='Raheem' last='Vance'] have a good chance to win this award as well. Vance broke Olive Branch's single game completion and yard record. Franklin has been on fire for Lake Cormorant. [player_tooltip player_id='376744' first='Dylan' last='Moran'] already has almost 1000 passing yards. He also already has 15 passing touchdowns through five games. [player_tooltip player_id='344138' first='Jamonta' last='Waller'] already has 13 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. He is a defensive player that I think can win this award.

Mr. 5A

I think that at this point we all expect [player_tooltip player_id='344052' first='Kahnen' last='Daniels'] to win this award. He has been balling hard this season. Daniels already almost has a thousand yards. He is on a roll this season. In one game, he had 427 yards and 7 TDs. [player_tooltip player_id='616683' first='Patrick' last='Broomfield'] is another guy that is doing a great job in 5A this season.

MR. 4A

[player_tooltip player_id='1121269' first='Kendon' last='Sanders'] from Louisville is a name we have to immediately think about. He has been doing a great job for Louisville on both sides of the football this season. His team is 5-0 this season, and they will be facing two more prospects that we think have a chance for Mr. 4A this year. Louisville is going against Houston this week who have [player_tooltip player_id='161267' first='Jalen' last='Washington'] and [player_tooltip player_id='311644' first='Will' last='Echoles'] on their side. Both of these guys have a great chance to be Mr. 4A. Tyler Arrington from Jackson Wingfield already has over 1700 all-purpose yards through five games. Let's not forget about him either.

Mr. 3A

This is going to be a tricky one this season. We know of two 2025 guys that are doing very well in 3A. I know that we automatically expect a senior to win this award. [player_tooltip player_id='648939' first='Kamario' last='Taylor'] from Noxubee County has been on a roll this season. He is doing a great job of getting the ball to his guys. We also cannot forget about [player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham'] who has been on fire this season also. These are two guys that we need to be sure to keep up with for this award. Let's not forget about sophomore Omari Johnson at Wesson. This award is going to be a tricky one. [player_tooltip player_id='139603' first='Fred' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1121288' first='Chase' last='Richardson'] are two seniors from Winona that you have to mention for this award as well. In all honest, I think one of those two will be taking home this trophy at the end of the season.

Mr. 2A

When we think about 2A, we automatically think of [player_tooltip player_id='618929' first='Deondre' last='Riley']. He is one of the most explosive players in the state. I truly think that he has a great chance to win this award this season. There are some guys in this class who will be trying their best to show him up every time they line up to play them. [player_tooltip player_id='559518' first='Bernard' last='Parker'] is a 2025 player from Philadelphia that can make a nice run for this award as well.

Mr. 1A

[player_tooltip player_id='346420' first='Gavin' last='Griffin'] is going to be a guy that will have the voters of this award really thinking. He is a player that has been on fire this season. He is part of the reason Velma Jackson has come out on fire the way that they have. [player_tooltip player_id='910394' first='Jathan' last='Hatch'] is another player that we may see win this award this season. He is a 2024 ATH from Biggersville that is committed to the University of Louisville.
