Nelson has one of the strongest arms across Idaho, and is one of the better signal callers the state has to offer. He has good mechanics in the pocket, strong awareness and maneuverability while keeping his eyes downfield and throwing guys open while not afraid to fit it into tight windows and take what is given to him. Nelson has passed for 650+ yards, 7 touchdowns and has a impressive 80% completion percentage through his first two showings of the 2023 season for Teton.
Mack Jensen Mack Jensen 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Burley | 2025 State ID , Burley HS ’25
Jensen has passed for over 800 yards, with over a 75% completion percentage and tacked on 13 touchdowns through the air already and is the focal point of an explosive and talented Burley offense this season. He is a bigger kid with good size, pocket awareness and a very quick release with the ability to throw across his body and fit the ball into tight windows while scanning the entire field and working through his progressions.
Cash Cahill, CVCHS (Meridian)
Cahill has passed for 668 yards and seven touchdowns through the first three weeks of play, tacking on another seven touchdowns and two INT’s. His willingness to throw the ball downfield and let his receivers make plays in tight windows make this offense dangerous and should be fun to watch down the stretch of the season. Look for Cahill to continue to put up big numbers over the course of the final seven game stretch.
Cache Beus, Skyview HS
Beus has the ideal frame for the position at 6’4″ and a strong build with some athletic abilities as well outside the pocket. Through three games, he has passed for 657 yards and is completing 70% of his passes downfield. The two-sport star is a terrific overall athlete that should continue having a very nice season for Skyview.
