Kaegan Chambers Kaegan Chambers 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Chesterfield | 2025 NC – Monroe – The Class of 2025 prospect was electric all night as a dual-threat quarterback. He operated Monroe’s offense well and helped lead a string of 28 unanswered points after Porter Ridge took a 14-0 lead early in the first quarter. At 6’1 and 170 pounds, he showed some great speed in the zone read game, as well as making some big plays happen breaking the pocket in passing situations. He did show the ability to be accurate in throwing the football as well, as he completed some key passes to keep drives going in passing situations. He scored two rushing touchdowns in the Redhawks victory.
Zion Lindsey – Monroe – The primary ball carrier for the Redhawks, Zion showed some impressive strength behind his runs up the middle and off-tackle in their offense. He is a Class of 2025 prospect standing at 5’11 and 220 pounds. He also played some linebacker on defense for the Redhawks and moves very well on both sides of the ball. He scored a rushing touchdown for the Redhawks in their victory.
Zach Melton – Monroe – The dynamic return man came into this game leading the nation in return yardage per Maxpreps, and Porter Ridge was determined to not kick or punt to him, which made a major impact in positive field position for the Redhawks. Zach is a Class of 2024 prospect standing at 5’7 and 130 pounds. He had a couple of key catches for first downs that showed off his electric ability with the ball in his hands. Great speed, dynamic quickness in short spaces, and a high level of agility highlight his game on the field.
Jared Lockhart Jared Lockhart 6'4" | 175 lbs | QB Porter Ridge | 2025 State NC – Porter Ridge – The dual-threat quarterback scored both offensive touchdowns for the Pirates, as he does a good job overall operating the Pirates’ infamous spread option attack. He is a Class of 2025 prospect standing at 6’4 and 175 pounds. I think he has great size and college potential, and that’s reflected in the fact he has offers from Marshall, Akron, and North Carolina A&T. I am excited to see him continue to develop and become an even bigger threat because he has some great traits that colleges love.
