Chase Pinkston Chase Pinkston 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Oak Grove | 2024 State MS
Pinkston is a player that makes a lot of plays for Oak Grove on defense. He has been a big impact for them this year. I love him at the safety position. Pinkston has the skills to help cover over the top and he also has the heart to come up to make hits. When you watch his film, notice the angle he takes on the first play. On that same play, notice the posture he is in when he makes a tackle. This is a 2024 safety college coaches need to know.
Tajii Burkett
Burkett is another Oak Grove Warrior I am a fan of. Burkett is very dangerous on the field. He is the kind of guy that knows how to go out and make plays every game. He is a great target for his quarterback. Burkett knows that he has a quarterback that is going to fit the football in the bread basketball. He also has the YAC ability that you want in a smaller receiver. He is a guy to know.
Nehemiah Taylor Nehemiah Taylor 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Oak Grove | 2024 State MS
Taylor is a guy that I still have listed as an ATH. This young man can do it all. He could probably line up at running back and take the load off of Kylin Champagne Kylin Champagne 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB Oak Grove Highschool | 2025 State MS . Taylor is expected to play defensive back in college. He has been a beast this season at a few different positions. He is catching the ball with ease. Definitely a guy that is known for yards after the catch.
Damari Jefferson Damari Jefferson 5'10" | 160 lbs | ATH Oak Grove | 2024 State MS
Jefferson is one of the hardest working wide receivers in the state. He is a player that is going to produce every time he touches the field. He also has some good YAC ability. Jefferson is a very precise route runner. Jefferson has the ability to be a division one player. He is a natural catcher that has very good hands.
Malachi Henderson Malachi Henderson 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Oak Grove | 2025 State MS
Henderson is a linebacker that we need to know. He is a young man that is in great shape. He is a striker that loves to come downhill and make plays. Henderson isn’t afraid to make big plays. He is not the guy that will shy away from contact. He is also decent in coverage. Keep up with this kid.
Alandez Blaylock is another guy from this team that I like. I have not seen his midseason film, but he has a very athletic build. Could possibly be a safety on the next level.
