Braylon Myers-WR/RB-Murray Co Indians
The 5’8 160 slot receiver/RB had an outstanding game Friday in a 28-21 upset win over the Chattooga Indians. Myers had 23 carries for 151 yards and had 2 receptions for 44 yards with 3 total TDs. Hard nosed guy that is not afraid to put his head down and run North-South for positive yardage. Has good hands as a receiver. Good player to evaluate if you are looking for a dependable slot receiver option at the NAIA, D3 or Sprint level.
Luke Lively-QB-Armuchee Indians
The 5’11 165 Junior QB is in his first year as QB1 for the Indians. Primarily a baseball prospect, All Region on the diamond with next level potential, he showed Friday night he can get it done on the gridiron as well. He accounted for 4 total TDs in the Indians 53-10 win over SE Whitfield. He scored on 2 long 50+ yard TD runs to go along with 2 TD passes. Athletic with a good frame. He has quick feet and runs tough. One to watch the 2nd half of the season as Armuchee starts region play this Friday.
Erik Jensen-LB/WR-Pepperell Dragons
The 6’2 210 Senior has been on our radar for a few years now. Played 130 snaps on Friday night and is the kind of athlete that can, and is willing, to play any position on the field. High motor that hits like a brick wall. Has the speed and agility to pursue and tackle from sideline to sideline. Good hands at receiver spot and is hard to tackle, loves lowering his shoulder and running over people. Definite diamond in the rough that I think is a for sure D2 talent. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a FCS school make an offer this Winter.
Caden Williams Caden Williams 5'11" | 200 lbs | ATH Calhoun | 2024 State GA -RB-Calhoun Yellow Jackets
The 5’11 205 Liberty Commit had 200 total yards on 16 touches in a big win over cross county rival Sonoraville. The bruising back seems to have found a mid season grove as the Yellow Jackets begin Region play next week in what is a gauntlet run in 7AAAAA. Liberty fans are excited to get this guy on campus next Fall.
Carter Triplett-QB-Christian Heritage
The 6’4 208 Junior is one that has been on our radar since the Summer prior to his Sophomore year. Tall solid kid that has good arm strength. He traditionally fits into the prostyle mode but is starting to evolve into more of a dual threat QB. Has enough speed and power to make tackling him difficult at his size ,had 153 yards rushing Friday. Accounted for 4 TDs and 330 total yards in an upset win over AAA Pickens Co on Friday. Definitely next level ability and size. One to watch this Spring and Summer on the Camp circuit.
