NW/W New Commitments and Offers

<p>As we head toward the midseason mark the recruiting action is starting to pick up. We had one player commit this week and several others receive an offer to play at the next level.</p>   <p><strong><em>LJ Green-Ath-'24 Heard Co</em></strong></p>   <p>The 6'0 160 athlete made his commitment to Georgia Southern. The preseason All State selection has the versatility and athleticism to play multiple positions for the Eagles. Defending Class A State Champion in the triple jump and gets in done in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. Right tackle for the Raiders who are off to a surprising start in '23. Athletic 270 that moves his feet well and is quick off the line. Finishes blocks to the whistle. Has the speed and agility to get to the 2nd level and engage blocks downfield. Received an offer this week from the Jacksonville St Gamecocks. Nelms picked up his 1st two offers this week from Middlebury College and Stetson University. The 6'4 280 Nelms can play anywhere across the offensive line. Fun film to watch. Pulling right guard that brings the violence. Quick off the line and finishes blocks, pancake specialist. 2X All Region, All State HM, 4.17 GPA and a multisport athlete. We saw him live this season and was impressed with his quickness to the ball and his tackling ability. Undersized but you would never know it watching him. A thumper that brings down much bigger RB's solo. Picked up his 5th offers this week from D3 Bluffton and Massachusetts Maritime. 3 Sport Athlete that led the Region Champ Tigers in tackles in '22. Pulled down a one handed TD grab earlier this season. Received and offer this week from Bluffton to go along with previous offers from Culver Stockton, Arizonia Christian and Sewanee.
