Class A has been all over the place this year and this game has the potential to establish who will be favored going into the later parts of the season.
Elkhorn @ Skutt Catholic
Skutt and Elkhorn have some of the best games in recent memory. This game between these two schools is a Class B classic. Last season the Antlers took the game with a 34-13 point win over Skutt. This year the Skyhawks are looking for revenge. Since their week one loss to Bennington outscoring their two opponents 87-24 going into the game with Elkhorn. Elkhorn has had a bit harder of a season where they’ve had only close games all season. Dropping their first game to Waverly Elkhorn then went to Norris and came back with a two point victory. Then They beat Gross by two scores at home. For Elkhorn their defense needs to step up and hold the Skyhawks offense. For Skutt Catholic they need to dominate on all sides of the ball and carry the game away.
