Top Players of the Game
WR Elliot Anderson Class of 2025
Elliot had a great game against the Skyhawks having 4 catches going for about 85 yards in total receptions. A solid game Anderson will continue to have a good season. The Skyhawks secondary kept him out of the endzone but he still showed what talent he has.
RB Quinton Archer Quinton Archer 5'6" | 165 lbs | RB Bennington | 2024 State NE Class of 2024
Quinton had a great game with catching and on the ground. Quinton had 16 carries for about 60 yards and a touchdown. Along with that, he had 3 catches for 50 yards receiving. Last season he had a great year rushing for 318 yards for 3 touchdowns. Quinton had a huge start to his year and I think he’s going to be one of the top backs in Class B.
DL/OL Justin Witcofski Justin Witcofski 6'1" | 235 lbs | OL Skutt Catholic | 2024 State NE Class of 2024
Justin had an elite game with his interception early. He was a disrupter the entire game for the Skyhawks. He and the rest of the Skyhawk defense held the Badgers from scoring for a large part of the game. Justin was a massive help in sealing off the run game and putting pressure on the quarterback.
QB Bennet Turman Class of 2024
Bennet had an almost unblemished game. Going 7/8 for 73 yards. His only missed pass was the interception he threw in the Third. His consistency kept the Skyhawks in the game and led to them keeping their second-half lead. Bennet was super accurate and showed his ability to throw long and medium-length passes all over the field.
