The Zachary and Wisham pipelines to Lafayette remain alive and well with the Broncos’ standout joining teammate Ethan Veal Ethan Veal 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Zachary | 2024 State LA in the Ragin’ Cajuns’ 2024 class and follow the footsteps of former ZHS wide receiver Charles Robertson and older brother T.J. Wisham, who prepped at Episcopal (Baton Rouge). Wisham, who announced Aug. 8, is a tall, long speedy receiver who has also showed some intriguing flashes at safety.

The Broncos’ highest-ranked prospect before the transfer of Trey’dez Green from East Feliciana, the big, physical left tackle announced his commitment Aug. 13 to Miami over a slew of other Power Five offers such as Florida State, Missouri, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and TCU.

One of the Louisiana’s top senior prospects surprised many fans, media and coaches Aug. 14 when he announced his commitment to Florida over LSU, Texas, Alabama and others. Mack pointed to his respect for and relationship with Gators defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, a New Iberia native and longtime LSU assistant, as a leading factor. But teammate Khayree Lee Jr. Khayree Lee Jr. 6'6" | 310 lbs | OL John Ehret | 2024 State LA and other LSU commits have maintained their push to change his mind and keep him in-state for college.
Eli Little | 6-3, 260 OL/DL | Winnfield (2024) —> ULM
The Warhawks identified and landed a somewhat under-the-radar in-state lineman, a leader in the trenches on both sides of the ball for his Tigers. Little played defensive tackle and right tackle this season, but projects primarily on the offensive side of the ball and should provide some positional versatility to that group in Monroe.

The Colonels landed another addition from familiar territory a short drive away in Gonzales on Aug. 23 when the big, experienced mauler with two-way experience announced his pledge.
