I’ve been traveling around New England each weekend catching live-action games and looking for rising talent and viewing identified prospects perform in a live setting. In this report, I will preview prospects I observed play in a live-action game that stood out and caught my attention during my travels. I will also include all top prospects’ names given to me by their respective coaches while attending these games. This report will be a continued report with several published pieces. Here is Report 1.
Mekhi Dodd Mekhi Dodd 6’0″ | 205 lbs | RB Catholic Memorial | 2025 State New E is a force with good speed and playmaking abilities. In week one he started the season off with a bang. The rising Junior rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown. He also had a 59 receiving yards and a second TD. rnDodd has breakaway speed and has a very strong lower body. He has the ability to power the ball inside or hit the outside perimeter with his speed. He runs with good lean and finishes the run with aggression. He appears durable at 6’0″ 205lbs and will only become stronger through future development. Umass and the BC Head Coach that was present at the game offered him after his performance.
Christopher Sanchez Christopher Sanchez 5’11” | 195 lbs | RB catholic memorial | 2026 State New E He was instinctive and flashy with a physical presence. He is physical and enjoys causes havoc to the opponents offense. He made a special play by intercpeting a ball that displayed very good reactionary skills with good eye and hand coordination and finishing the play with a touchdown. Has excellent speed and quickness and can cover well.
Highlights
Carson Eutsay Carson Eutsay 6’1″ | 225 lbs | LB Catholic Memorial | 2025 State New E He is a solid physical linebacker with good speed and strength. He displayed the ability to get off blocks and fill gaps quickly while pursuing the ball carrier. rnHe has a rare combination of size, speed and physcal presense, that will attract schools and will surely be one to watch through out the recruiting process. Carson Eutsay Carson Eutsay 6’1″ | 225 lbs | LB Catholic Memorial | 2025 State New E 4k
Timoy Stitchell Timoy Stitchell 6’1″ | 170 lbs | ATH Lasalle Academy | 2025 State New E . He is very long with potential growth in his lean frame. He displayed very good athletic ability while having cramping issues throughout the game. rnHe really caught my attention when he high-topped the ball with excellent balance and body control along with a high-level vertical jump, to hurl in the catch for a TD. He was observed directing teammates on what to do on both offense and defense.
Marshall Rice Marshall Rice 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Boston College High | 2024 State New E . When he is on the gridiron, all defenders must know where he is at all times. He is a terrific playmaker who has speed, athleticism, and quickness combined with a competitive nature. He was very entertaining in live-action and he left me with a sense of certainty to know that he is an exceptional athlete with a high ceiling ahead. rnHe has very good field vision and can make defenders miss in an open field with loose hips. I project he will continue to produce this season at a high level and will easily catch the attention of many college coaches during and after the 2023 season. One thing that really grabbed my attention was every time it appeared his team needed a play, he turned in the effort and made the play. This was on both sides of the ball. Solid Recruit!!!!
Highlights
Carter Carroll Carter Carroll 6’3″ | 205 lbs | QB Boston College | 2025 State New E . He showed very good poise throughout his entire opening night performance. He stood strong and focused when throwing from the pocket. rnHe was observed going through his progressions while continuing to scan the field to find open targets. He used good power in his throws and delivered accurate darts to his receivers when throwing toward middle-of-the field traffic. Has a very good game command presence that stands out.
Highlights
Kaleb Sawyer Kaleb Sawyer 6’2″ | 240 lbs | DL Boston College | 2025 State New E . He was relentless on both sides of the ball. On defense he was a force while creating problems for o-lineman to get a clean block on him. rnWas observed being in opponents backfield several times while giving constant pressure to the QB and making tackles for losses. He mirrors the QB action well and it paid off late in the game when he snagged a ball in the air with 1 hand while pressuring the QB for a 20 yard return and game changing play. On offense, he was very effective in the run blocking scheme and was rarely beat in any plays.
Chief Ebana Chief Ebana 6’3″ | 265 lbs | DL Kingswood Oxford | 2024 State New E I observed him being bounced from outside edge to inside gap. He was very effective in the middle causing havoc everytime he lined up. Overall he is much better suited for interior play than being an edge perimeter defender. I say this because he can get off the ball quickly with a very low center of gravity and get and maintain gap integrity. Plays physical each rep.
Highlights
Justin Morle Justin Morle 5’9″ | 215 lbs | RB Kingswood Oxford | 2026 State New E He grabbed my attention in early 1st quarter play. He made his name known immediately by being involved with several first series tackles and stayed consistent through out the game while playing OLB. He appeared to have a solid frame at 5’10” and he enjoys being physical.
Highlights
Dereon Coleman Dereon Coleman 6’1″ | 190 lbs | QB Orlando Jones | 2026 FL . He displayed very good running ability when carrying the ball. I see him stronger running inside the tackles rather that a perimeter runner. On defense, he plays physically and fills quickly. He is very effective in stopping the inside run. Has a strong lower body and a firm frame to be durable runner.
