Beattie was running some precise routes and was able to come away with some clutch catches, moving the chains and impacting the receiving game. He was able to turn on the jets and get into the endzone to increase his teams lead. He was a player who was able to set up and will be someone to keep an eye on moving forward.
Hayden Moreno
Hayden Moreno
Moreno was a player that was able to do it all for his team. He made an impact in the return game being able to take it to the house. He was able to show off his speed being able to bounce the ball to the outside and outrun everyone twice for touchdowns, rushing for 170 yards. He also added one through the air as he connected deep over the middle and the receiver was able to punch it in.
William Tarallo
William Tarallo
Tarallo was able to come out and show his improvement from last season as he was able to rush for 127 yards on 19 carries. He was able to pickup chunk yardage and make it count when he got the football. He also showed the ability to catch the ball out of the back field with an explosive receiving play for 35 yards. He will be a prospect to watch moving forward.
Madden was a player that was able to help his team persevere and pull out the tough victory. When it got deep into the game he was able to still put the ball on the money, giving only his receivers a chance to make a play and they were able to come through. He fit the ball into a couple of tight windows and was able to move the chains. He will be a key player to watch in the week 1 matchup.
Highlights
Mellish was able to show not only his physicality but a burst of speed as well. He was blocking the defenders out of bounds at times and was able to contribute in the running game. He was not afraid to make a catch over the middle and showed his wide catch radius pulling down some catches outside of his frame. He was able to outrun defenders in open space and was constantly getting behind defenders.
