Who are they?
Let’s take a look…
Antwann Hill Antwann Hill 6'4" | 215 lbs | QB Houston County | 2025 State GA Jr. – Houston County
One of the top overall quarterbacks in the country for the 2025 class, Hill Jr. came out and played perfect in game one. Seriously. Perfect. The Houston County star went 16/16 for 287 yards and four passing touchdowns to go along with another rushing touchdown, leading the Bears to a big 56-12 win over Sumpter County. After a season where he threw for over 3,600 yards and 40 touchdowns. Hill Jr. is on his way to another special season. He’s the No. 1 QB in Georgia for the 2025 class, and he played lights out on Friday night.
Dylan Raiola Dylan Raiola 6'3" | 220 lbs | QB Buford | 2024 State GA – Buford
In the biggest game of the high school football weekend, Raiola has plenty of eyes on him as he and the Buford Wolves hosted No.6-ranked St. Frances. Raiola, the No.1 player in the state and future Georgia Bulldogs, threw two important touchdowns that kept Buford ahead through the entirety of the game. Raiola was under heavy pressure at times, but played extremely well, making big throws while being chased. He looked like a 5-star and will only play better as he builds a better chemistry with his receivers throughout the year. After an impressive opening game performance, the Wolves are set to head no North Carolina to take on might Mallard Creek. If Raiola continues to improve, Buford will be tough to beat in 7A all season long. He ended the game going 14/26 (2 drops) 54% for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Prentis Noland – Langston Hughes
A newly-ranked 5-star prospect, Noland led Langston Hughes to an undefeated 6A state championship season and is off to a great start in 2023 as a senior. Playing against the powerful Carrollton Trojans, Nolan led the Panthers to an exciting 39-34 victory. An Ohio State commitment, Noland showed off his elite arm talent and made some big throws against an incredibly talented Trojan defense. The 6-foot-3 195-pounder was an effective 13/21 for 162 yards and two touchdowns. They maybe in 6A, but Langston Hughes is once again one of the very best teams in Georgia for any classification. A big reason why is because of Noland, who really shined in his first game as a senior.
One of the top 2026 quarterbacks in Georgia, Britt is coming off an impressive freshman season last year where he threw for just under 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns. Now, he’s off to a big start as a sophomore. Now Lanier Christian came out with the loss, but Britt was still outstanding, throwing for 438 yards on 25/43 passing with five touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also rushed for 32 yards and one more touchdown. He shows excellent arm talent and knows how to throw a beautiful ball down the field. He has plenty of talent and understands the position well for his age. He’s accurate, shows great pocket presence, and does a good job of leading receivers with his throws. He’s consistently accurate, shows poise and bound for a monster 2023 season.
One of the top small-town quarterbacks across the state, Kanazawa was incredibly productive last year as a junior, throwing for an impressive 3,266 yards and 35 touchdowns. He kicked off his senior season in a big way, going 19/30 for 288 yards and three touchdowns, leading Troup County to a big 61-20 victory. He played well in the pocket and threw some tight, accurate passes conistently throughout the game. He also showed off his ability to take off and run, rushing for 35 yards and another score. He’s not the biggest or fastest quarterback in the state, but he understands the position, is a really good athlete, and plays the game the right way. Look for him to lead Schley County to a deep playoff run this fall.
