Ricky Johnson Ricky Johnson 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Houston County | 2024 State GA – Houston County
One of the top wide receivers in Middle Georgia, Johnson is a guy we’ve written about for a while now, and for good reasons. A big-time pass-catcher currently committed to Stanford, Johnson is the leading receiver in Georgia right now across seniors according to MaxPreps. In game one, Johnson caught just four passes against Sumpter County, but took them for 146 yards and one touchdown. He was even better in week two, catching 12 big passes in a close win over Perry for 218 yards and three touchdowns. With junior QB Antwann Hill Antwann Hill 6'4" | 215 lbs | QB Houston County | 2025 State GA throwing him the ball, look for Johnson to keep lighting up the stat sheet this season.
One of the top pass-catchers in Cobb County, Vaka is a true playmaker on the outside with the ability to score on any particular play. A crisp route-runner with above average speed, Vaka has been a go-to target for the Kell offense so far this season. In week one against Parkview, Vaka caught four passes for 109 yards and one touchdown. In week two against Allatoona, Vaka was even better, catching 8 passes for an eye-opening 169 yards and one touchdown. A dependable vertical threat, Vaka is also dangerous after the catch, making him an easy target in the screen and short passing game as well. He’s been productive throughout his high school career and bound for his biggest season this fall for the Longhorns.
Dylan Williams Dylan Williams 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Roswell | 2024 State GA – Roswell
One of the top senior quarterbacks in 6A and across Fulton County, Williams is a major target in the Hornet’s passing attack and has started his senior season with a bang. A physical receiver with soft hands, Williams is as reliable as it gets in the area for pass-catchers. He hasn’t caught a load of passes, but when he has caught a ball, it normally results in a big play. In week one, Williams caught three passes against Denmark for 88 yards and one touchdown. In week two, the Hornet playmaker caught four passes for 76 yards and three touchdowns. Through two games this season,Williams has caught seven passes for 164 yards and an impressive four touchdowns. He’s a big-play weapon and he’s hoping to lead the Hornet offense deep into the 6A playoffs again.
Javarius George – North Paulding
A speedy, crafty wideout from Dallas, Georgia, George is a 5-foot-10 170-pounder with breakaway 4.4 speed. As a junior last year, George showed a lot of promise, but this year, he’s looking like one of the best receivers in the area. He’s shown explosiveness and playmaking ability, catching four passes for 136 yards and one touchdown. He impressed in week two as well, catching two passes vs East Paulding for 84 yards and one touchdown. He’s averaging an outstanding 36.7 yards per reception. He’s playing great, and he should see even more targets come his way this upcoming weekend and for the rest of the season. He’s certainly got his senior season off to a strong start.
