Scouting Gainesville Oak Hall
In this article:
When it comes to covering the state of Florida, we do more than rank teams and players. Our objective is to make sure that EVERY prospect gets some of the spotlight.
With our year-round coverage and travel across the state of Florida, we are here to promote and expose our talent to college coaches everywhere. We go and see and just don’t post social media information from our computer.
During the season, we will promote prospects – especially those who are in need of attention and spotlight in every class.
Today we bring you 11 Gainesville Oak Hall players who have worked hard, gotten it done in the classroom and have attended a number of exposure events.
Thanks to the amazing work of head coach R.J. Fuhr, these young men have that opportunity. He and his staff not only do a great job of coaching, but also promote their student/athletes as well.
2026 – Aaron Atkins, WR/DB. They call this quality young man “A-Train” for a reason. Only headed into the 10th grade, he has already displayed his athletic ability on the football field and as a baseball, basketball and track performer.
2027 – Andrew Atkins, OL/DL, 5-10, 220. Prospects like this you get out early and start tracking their growth and development. Has already proven that he will be special on the football field as well as having early positive classroom (3.0 GPA) habits.

He plays quarterback, receiver, kicker and free safety on the football field. He competes in basketball and track and is more than solid in the classroom (3.9 GPA).
2025 – Briggs Copeland, Athlete, 6-0, 170. If you are looking for someone to write down and keep track of over the next two years, this versatile dual sport performer is that prospect. Not only is he a productive athlete, but also gets it done in the classroom (3.2 GPA).

2024 – Carter Dykes, TE/WR/SS. Talk about an all-around student athlete. It’s not enough that he is a standout on the football field, playing three plus positions. But he is a starting Lacrosse midfielder and happens to hold down a 3.5 GPA in the classroom.
2024 – Sirderick Farley Sirderick Farley 5'10" | 210 lbs | RB Gainesville Oak Hall | 2024 FL , RB/LB/DE/FB, 5-10, 210. Team captain, track and field standout who leads by example and is a force at multiple positions. Watch him play and you will be sold immediately!

2024 – Aidan Jerkins, DL/OL, 5-10, 235. Here is an All-State, All-Area and All-Conference performer who has truly been overlooked. Has everything it takes to be special at the next level.
2026 – Austin Provencher, OL/DL, 5-10, 190. If the last name sounds familiar, it should. His older brother, Dylan, had quite a career for this program as he is headed off to Carnegie Mellon to continue his academic and athletic career. Keep your eye on the younger version who will get bigger and stronger as he matures. You know that positive classroom habits are already installed.
2024 – Jake Quigley, WR/DB. Another two-way player who has speed, athletic ability and will be looked upon this season to keep this team on top.
