Here are some of the Offensive Standouts:
Ringgold Tigers
Haddon Fries Haddon Fries 5'6" | 185 lbs | RB Ringgold | 2026 GA -RB-2026
One of my personal favorites to watch in North Georgia. Listed at 5’6 185 this kid is built like a bowling ball. Compact with square shoulders and thick lower body. Outstanding at keeping his legs moving and churning forward for extra yards after contact. Doesn’t have the breakaway speed that some other RB’s may have but is a go to guy for positive yards. Work horse for the Tigers. Had 25 carries for 174 yards with a TD. Outstanding student with a 3.7 GPA and a multisport athlete. Next level potential.
Kishaun Taylor- Ath-2025
The 5’8 140 Athlete gives the Tigers a great 1-2 punch with different running styles. Taylor is the type of guy that can hit the corner and out run you down the sidelines. Quick first step and explodes off the line of scrimmage. Has good hands as a receiver. He had 7 touches for 54 yards Friday which included both rushing and receiving. Good athlete on both sides of the ball. Had a sack late in the game where he blew by the blocker off the end. Came shooting off the end and blocked a General field goal attempt.
Nolan Burchfield-OL-2024
You don’t rush for over 200 yards without the big guys up front. The 6’5 280 Burchfield provides Senior leadership up front for the Tigers. Thin build for 280 pounds. Looks like he could add good weight at the next level with not much issue. Aggressive blocker that gets off the ball quick. A 4.0 student that has gotten interest from several schools this offseason. Would be a great addition at a high academic program.
Heritage Generals
Brayden Slaughter-RB-2026
Young RB that is a work horse for the Generals. The 5’10 175 Sophomore is a tough North South running back that is not afraid to lower his shoulder and run over you. Takes care of the ball. Ran the ball on 15 of the Generals 20 rushing plays on Friday. Hard worker in the weight room. Has a power clean max as a sophomore. Definitely a player to keep an eye on over the next 3 years as he gains experience.
Cody Bryan-WR-2026
Another guy that may not catch your attention getting off the bus at 5’8 145 but has good hands and speed. Good route runner. Led the Generals in receptions Friday night with 5 catches and 2 TDs. He should have plenty of opportunity’s this Fall as the Generals put the ball in the air 30 times. Another one of the many Heritage Sophomore’s that will only get better over the next 3 years.
Max Owens-WR-2024
Owens is one that catches your attention in pregame. 6’3 190 senior has a long athletic build. Good speed and is a good route runner. Provides a deep threat for the Generals. Was the games overall leading receiver with 4 catches for 54 yards with most coming down the stretch when the game was on the line. 3 sport Athlete that was a 1st Team All Region selection at WR last year. No doubt Owens will have several long touchdown grabs this season.
