Some key players have moved especially on offense but they still return some important players from last years historic run.
Baruk Jonsson 2025 6’3 165 QB – Baruk and his family recently moved to Mascoutah for the military this past year. Last season he was attending Tampa Jesuit in Florida. Baruk is someone who is set for a breakout season with his new team. The 6’3 lefty has a quick release and nice touch on his deep balls. He is also a good athlete that can hurt you with his feet as well.
Jake Fritz 2024 6’2 190 WR/LB – On offense Jake is a big body wide receiver with natural hands. He does a good job snatching the ball away from his body. He’s a big target that should get a lot of touches this season. Defensively he plays the outside linebacker position. He does a good job playing in space and is a solid tackler.
Antonio Mack 2024 Jr 5’10 154 WR/DB – Antonio is not afraid to get his nose dirty in run support. He does a good job triggering on bubble/now screens to break those plays up. He has really good top end speed he puts on display chasing down plays or returning kicks.
James Barnes James Barnes 5'11" | 270 lbs | OL Mascoutah | 2024 IL 2024 6’0 270 OL/DL – James looks to anchor the offensive line this year for Indians. He is a strong guard who plays with leverage up front. He also displays quick feet when asked to pull. He doubles as a powerlifter and wrestler so you know he can move people up front.
Kanoa Owens 2024 5’8 155 RB/DB – Kanoa has home run speed at the running back spot. He hits the hole full speed and can split the safeties. In the spring he is also a standout track athlete in the long jump but this fall I expect him to have a big year.
Riley Kramer Riley Kramer 5'9" | 240 lbs | OL Mascoutah | 2025 IL 2025 5’9 240 OL/DL – Riley is an active puller in the their gap scheme run game. He does a good job kicking out defensive ends creating running lanes. In pass protection he has good technique with active hands and feet.
