Four of them are currently ranked, while the other will look to debut in the Prep Redzone rankings next time they are updated.
All five of them can contribute quickly to a college-level program, especially on special team units.
Lexton Grafke Lexton Grafke 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR Lansing | 2024 State KS , WR, 5’10”, 155, Lansing
What makes Grafke such a high prospect is his ability to run tight routes and outwork defenders. He is not the tallest or fastest receiver in the state, but this Lansing prospect can flat ball out. Grafke runs precise routes and finds space after a play has broken down. He is also an excellent blocker out in space. Grafke is currently ranked No. 84 overall in the Class of 2024 by Prep Redzone and is the No. 7 ranked player in his position.
Crew Myers Crew Myers 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Blue Valley West | 2024 State KS , WR, 6’0”, 170, Blue Valley West
Myers can hurt defenses with his size and speed. He can break away from defenders on short or long throws. He is a dangerous weapon running screen plays called for him. Myers is ranked No. 98 overall in the Class of 2024 and is the 10th-ranked wide receiver in Kansas among his 2024 peers.
Stetson Schafer Stetson Schafer 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Cherryvale | 2024 State KS , WR, 6’3”, 185, Cherryvale
An unranked scary talent is Cherryvale’s prospect, Stetson Schafer Stetson Schafer 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Cherryvale | 2024 State KS . He made 42 receptions during his junior season gaining 942 yards and scoring 15 touchdowns. He is long and can jump. Schafer is also a solid prospect on the defensive side of the ball at the safety position.
Zac Evans Zac Evans 5'11" | 160 lbs | ATH Valley Falls | 2024 State KS , WR, 5’11”, 160, Valley Falls
Evans is a receiver built in a similar mold as Grafke. The Valley Falls prospect has a long stride and can really run. He arguably could be the fastest athlete in this group. He is not afraid to run routes across the middle of the field. He caught 43 balls for 821 yards during his junior campaign. He also scored 11 touchdowns on receptions in 2022.
Mile Hinkle, WR, 6’4”, 180, Basehor-Linwood
The largest target for a quarterback on this list is the 6-foot-4 Hinkle. He has a nice set of hands, a wide wing span, and is a smart football player. Last season he made 26 receptions for 295 yards. He hopes to be more of a target heading into his senior season. Hinkle is also a gifted small forward on the basketball court for the Bobcats.
