Ben Shumaker
Shumaker is a 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive lineman out of Choctaw Co (Miss.) High School that is going to be a dog. When we showed up at their practice he was on point. Yes, he does have some things to work on, but this guy is a beast. He has some long arms that he needs to learn how to use to his advantage. I can’t wait to watch him play this season.
Ayden Coleman
Coleman is a guy expected to help Louisville out this season. He is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound edge/OLB that has great speed. Coleman is also expected to help out on offense some. He is a real dog that has great potential. He needs to hurry up and tap into that potential. Kids like him can have their stock rise very early. He just has to put the work in.
Shack isn’t going to be the starter this season, but he has transferred to Brandon. Shack is going to get a chance to learn behind a very good quarterback. is going to be a quarterback with some nice size. He already has some very nicely built legs. He is a guy that will be able to give Varnes some breathing room this season.
Unger is another 2027 player that isn’t new to the scene. I’m thinking that he is going to be a guard on the next level. This season, he gets to learn from Joe Koury Joe Koury 6'1" | 270 lbs | OL Madison Central | 2024 State MS who is a very intelligent offensive lineman that transferred from Madison Central. Unger is a division one prospect. Be sure to keep your eyes open for his name.
