The outcome was a surprising blowout by Crusaders 54-0, but there was a lot of future D1 player on the field for both teams. Here is a look at some of the offensive standouts.
LUTHERAN NORTH

The speedy Hollis (6’2″ 185) set the tone early with some nice runs for the Crusaders. The true dual threat quarterback averaged 14.8 yards per carry for 59 yards on only 4 carries, but did most of his damage through the air going 7-10 for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. Dakarri can make all the throws from the pocket or on the move and is dangerous with the ball in his hands to run or pass. He has been timed at 4.75 in the laser 40 at Lindenwood camp.

Stephenson is another speedy back for the Crusaders. He had a great freshman season on varsity rushing for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns last season, and he matched his touchdown total in the first game this year rushing for 4 touchdowns on 4 carries for 128 yards. The 5’9″ Stephenson is ultra quick and elusive along with his 4.6 forty speed. He also runs hard between the tackles, but he was off to the races and barely touched on Saturday.
Mikel Harris | Sr. | WR |
Harris made the most of his offensive opportunity with his only two receptions both going for touchdowns. Mikel is another very quick Crusader with good speed and hands. He also played defense and made some nice plays on that side of the ball. The senior shows great leadership on offense and gives Hollis a veteran threat to throw to.
Trey Bass | Jr. | WR |
The 5’11” 180 junior has shown big play ability since he was an 8th grader. Trey also made the most of his chances with two touchdowns for two receptions. He has really put in the work in the offseason in the weight room and with his skills. He has always had very good speed and balls skills, and his added strength has showed both this summer and in the game as a receiver and blocker.
Crusader Offensive Line
The Lutheran North offensive line did a great job as a unit in it’s run and pass blocker against some future D1 opponents on the Hawks defensive line. Senior

Jonathan Moore

Moore

Lutheran North | 2027
MO
| Fr. | QB |
The super talented freshman QB Moore (6’0″ 193) deserves a mention after coming in and scoring two touchdowns rushing in his first varsity action. He’s a big play signal-caller who throws the ball well, but is very dangerous on the ground using his legs. He runs as well as a running back, but has a good arm and can make the throws. He’s a player to watch for the next four years.
HAZELWOOD CENTRAL
Jackson Summerville | Sr. | QB |
It was tough night for the Hawks QB, who faced constant pressure from the swarming North defense, but he fought hard and battled despite not putting up big numbers. Jackson complete 9 of 18 passes for only 80 yards and 0 touchdowns. He did have 65 yards on 10 rushes, mostly as he was forced out of the pocket. Sommerville is a good athlete and continued to compete despite being frustrated by mistakes, pressure and a stingy defense.
Antoine Gunn

Gunn only had 31 yards on 8 carries but he ran very hard and was able to make something out of nothing for what he did get. He has good strength and power with good speed and played hard through the game. He deserves a mention.
